Dr Merkley performed my first colonoscopy. He was professional and had bed side manners. I will return to him for my next colonoscopy.

Dr. Merkley is my favorite doctor! He was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad that I went to see him. I feel like other doctors do not listen and try to rush me through my appointments or tell me what medications I am going to take. Dr. Merkley was patient, listened to me, and discussed treatment options with me which made me feel like I was taking part in my own care and I appreciated that from him. He was very down to earth with me and I was able to understand everything that he was explaining to me. He has a wonderful bedside manner and when it came time for my surgeries, he made me feel at ease. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great gastroenterology doctor!

He is the greatest! Very compassionate doctor and I am so glad I went to see him. I've been to see several doctors for my problems and Dr. Merkley was the only doctor who did not give up on trying to find out what was wrong with me. I will definitely recommend him to others!

Dr. Merkley is the greatest. He does an excellent job and has a fabulous bedside manner. I've had 2 other GI doctors who never got me to sleep while doing a full colonoscopy. It was horrible!! I alerted Dr. Merkley about my past experiences, and he made sure I was out before performing colonoscopy!! His caring and bedside manner is second to none!! I would give him 6 stars if I could...

No problems at all . Great bedside manner . Staff couldn’t have been any better .

Problems with the preparation and instructions for a colonoscopy. They were unclear and counterdictive. When those issues were brought to Dr. Merkley’s staff they were ignored and the staff was not interested in the problems . I was told “I’m telling you what you need to do” and to “ignore the directions on the preparation solution.” I hope to rescheduled my colonoscopy elsewhere.

Great experience. I had been to see another gastroenterology doctor before seeing Dr. Merkley and was not happy. Dr. Merkley listened to me and really seemed to care about trying to make me feel better.
