Dr. Scott Thomas Milne, MD

I previously saw this physician in my local ER who was the most disrespectful provider I have ever met. He knew MS was in my medical history and when I told him I needed to go to the bathroom he refused to let me used any mobility aids and said "no I know you can do it. just walk over there". So I took one step off the bed and face planted because my legs cannot hold the weight of my body. I am now covered in bruises and Scott Milne didn't offer to help me up off the floor. He told one of his nurses to grab me a commode and then walked away. The only other interaction I had with him was when he said my labs were normal. There were no follow up instructions, explanation of my diagnosis or what they were testing my blood for. I left the hospital with more questions than when I entered. This man should not be a physician.

It took about 4 hours of being in the hospital emergence room (in the actual room, not waiting area) before he came in the room to make an appearance. He told me my blood work was normal and didnt know why I was on antibiotics. I had been sick for 7 Weeks with multiple infections and couldn't keep down water. I asked for a copy of blood work on my way out and every blood test said ABNORMAL in all caps. I had 6 things off the normal range and it clearly showed I still had a bacterial infection as I had over 90% neutrophils and only half a percent lymphocytes. So not only did he lie to me but had no interest in finding out what was wrong with me and why I wasn't getting better after 2 months of.being sick. And now my.bill is huge.

It was in the emergency room and I was pigheadedly in a lot of pain since I hate taking something for it. He was on the money with his diagnosis and after treatment I was beyond recovering and minimal discomfort without pain killers in less than 12 hours. I came back the next day about 12 hours later and follow up was un needed due to progress of speedy recovery.

Ruled out emergency, however, noticed abnormal blood calcium and referred me to Endocrinologist. Offered to follow up with me in one to two days. Excellent bedside manner.
