Dr. Scott Evan Mintzer, MD

My experiences were so bad i pulled anchor and refused to return after my third office visit. The staff was barely more inspiring than the Dr. Mintzer himself. The only excuse for being so unavailable is poor time management or an assembly line style queuing system without the infrastructure to support it. The long wait times for scheduled appointments along with traveling so far to see him were untenable. I often felt talked down to and uncomfortable during visits as though he didn't truly care about his me the patient or had issues at least faking it. Bedside manner is 0 out of 10 stars for my personal experience. Not a bad experience but an entirely negative one, i can imagine military doctors and prison doctors being more attentive and caring. I hope i was the exception or simply an unlucky minority in this regard.

This is the worst office I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. If you ever need a refill on a medication that you take all the time and never changes, do yourself a favor and start that process 2 months in advance. It will take that long for them to do anything, then it will take them that long to get it right. They rarely return phone calls and speaking to the doctor is something that is never going to happen.

Very pleasant and caring. Seems to be on the cutting edge of things and on top of his game. I would recommend the neurologist to anyone!

I finally found someone who was able to set me right. Dr. Mintzer is truly a smart doctor. My only issue is making and keeping appointments can be challenging.
