Dr. Scott Walker Nye, MD

Hesitates to take case. Disparaging of other doctors. Glad he left, can't count on him.

Scott Nye is a very caring person and a wonderful surgeon. He did a great job on our 15 year old sons Linguinal Hernias.

Dr. Nye ordered anesthesia given to me after I'd made it absolutely clear that I wanted no at all anesthesia during my colonoscopy as I've done it twice before. He had the nurse administer it anyway after I stated that the procedure was over and that no one was to put that drug into my system, yet it was injected against my wishes anyway. Now I suffer from PTSD because of his actions. I guess he forgot that the Hippocratic Oath taken promises to do no harm to his patients.

Dr. Nye shouldn't be trusted, I asked for zero anesthesia numerous times before a scheduled colonoscopy. When I arrived I was told he wouldn't do the procedure without anesthesia, and I told him, "well this is over then!" Unbeknownst to me his nurse walked over and injected my IV with anesthesia even after my having told her repeatedly that I didn't want anesthesia, so against my wishes I was given anesthesia and the colonoscopy was done, also against my wishes, because I'd told them it was over and I'd go elsewhere. Dr. Nye never even spoke to me after the treatment and then lied to the hospital telling them he'd informed me of the benefits and dangers of anesthesia and that I agreed to take it. That's bull! Why would he have done that when I told him no anesthesia from the start. Use this doctor at your own risk.
