Dr. Scott Andrew Paxton, MD

I had total shoulder replacement on aug 14. Dr. Paxton tried a couple of options before surgery since I am only 58 (on young side for replacement surgery) after non surgical options didn’t produce the results we hoped for we decided to go the surgery route. Everything went smoothly and I now have full mobility and getting stronger everyday. PT is very important as explained by Dr Paxton. I found him compassionate, competent and he answered all of the questions my husband and I had. I would highly recommend him. Donna G

I have always found Dr Paxton to be very caring and compassionate. And I have recommended him to many of my friend.

My experience with him was that he acted very unprofessional. He ( Dr, Paxton ) was very rude and judgemental toward me and my husband both. Cut me off numerous times when I was trying to answer his questions. Would not listen to what I was saying. He seemed very easy to jump to his own conclusions without any explanation or reason why he changed my words to something not entirely what I tried to explain. Like I was a waste of his time. Him and the staff tell you one thing and then do the total opposite of what they stated they were going to do. Which is sad because the original staff members were not acting like this, but they have hired newer ones recently that are giving all the staff members a bad name. The doctor (Paxton) is giving his ownself a bad name with his actions and demenor. I feel if he reads this he will laugh because in my opinion he seems to come off thinking he is so much better than others. Seems funny I had to rate as fair instead of my original poor rating… before it would let me subment my review.

Dr Paxton is extremely caring and through. He is the first doctor who really cares about his patients.
