Dr. Scott Saylor Posgai, MD

Dr Posgai is a very competent doctor with a great bedside manner. He takes his time with you and thoroughly answers your questions. I never feel like I'm being rushed and always leave with a lot of knowledge and a good feeling. I highly recommend Dr Posgai. A+++

A really great doctor. Spends a lot of time with you. Most doctors rush in and rush out, not Dr Posgai. Great bedside manner, staff is great, appointments can happen quickly. All around A+

Scott Posgai has been my doctor since 1986 and I have never considered changing although I have been through 5 dentists in the same time period. He is low key, friendly, knowledgeable, and takes time to be thorough. I have not always been a perfect patient but he gently reminds me to take my meds regularly and go for necessary outside testing. Knowing I will not return every 6 months for needed blood work unless forced, he only writes my prescriptions for 6 months. His staff is friendly and polite. My wait time is usually under 15 minutes.

One of the best doctors I've ever had the pleasure of visiting and the staff is great.

Been going to Dr. Posgai about 20 years. I appreciate the prompt attention and ease of appointments. Several calls which are always returned except once. Sometimes I leave the office feeling like I don't exactly know what I need to do next; like what Dr to follow up with and when or what for. Nurses do alright. However, office staff is the worse. A woman who takes payments took a full payment for a week later follow-up and also for a yearly. Would not refund the difference and I am owed a credit for one visit but not the follow-up. I have often thought about finding another Doctor's office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Posgai for many years. He has been nothing but honest and caring every visit. He is very thorough and has always answered any questions i may have had. I do not agree with the previous comment about his staff nor the Dr. himself. I have NEVER had a bad experience with him or any of his staff since becoming a patient.I would like highly recommend him to anyone and have done so. I was a patient of Dr. Posgai from shortly after he opened his first practice. My parents and sister were also patients for over 30 years. Unfortunately, his office staff got worse and worse since his wife stopped running it. I was having some major issues several years back and was referred to multiple specialists, with little luck. I could not get return calls from the doctor when I followed up. I finally switched doctors and had much better luck. My parents remained loyal to him until recently. My 64 year old mother suddenly developed severe vertigo, became lethargic and needed an appointment. I contacted Dr. Posgai's office to schedule an appointment and was put on the phone with a rude office manager who refused to schedule her in because of a $25 missed appointment charge from 3 years prior. My mother had no recollection of missing an appointment nor of receiving a bill or call about any problems. My father had been in every 6 months for follow up visits and nothing was ever… mentioned to him about a billing issue. I politely advised that I was unaware of a problem, but if there was a bill due, it would gladly be taken care of during the visit.She took an attitude with me advised me that it was sent to collections 2 years ago, so we would need to contact that company and no appointment would be scheduled until she got confirmation it was paid. I advised that my mother is in need of medical care and as a 30+ year patient who helped solidify Dr. Posgai's first practice out of Med School, I was sure that accomodations could be made. She became more confrontational and advised that they do not see patients with past due balance, period.I politely asked for a call from the Dr. at his earliest convenience and was advised in a very rude tone that the doctor does not talk to patients who are in collections. I advised that as a long time patient, I would like to address the issue with the doctor directly, and assured her that any balance would be taken care of timely. The office manager then said that she is the one who controls billing and regardless of my speaking with the doctor, nothing is happening without her approval. I repeated that I would please like a call from the doctor regardless. She said "he might call you if he has time". I expected that her anger at my asking to speak with the doctor meant I would not get a timely call. I immediately made an appointment with my new doctor and got her in that afternoon. I have never heard back from Dr. Posgai, and suspect he never received my message. We also never got any information about this supposed bill. It may be valid, but we don't have any information on it nor have we received any follow up from the office manager.My father has now switched to the new doctor as well. Between the both of them they have already spent thousands of dollars this year in follow up visits. I hope the office manager is happy she lost that revenue for her employer.I am in business myself and understand collections. Despite what any policy says, I would never treat a customer with such disdain, especially over something trivial. They lost long time, good paying patients over a mere $25 bill that would have been paid upon arrival at the office. A doctor is not a good providor if patients cannot speak with him or get an emergency appointment because of an underling with a god complex.There are plenty of doctors in town with great credentials and friendly office staff. Don't waste your time with this rude office team. It is a shame, as I grew up with Dr. Posgai and my parents really liked him, even after I gave up on him a few years ago.

I have been his patient for some 10 years. Dr Posgai is an excellent doctor and sends me to the proper specialist when I need one. He's very caring and personable. We're a team in maintaining my health.
