Dr. Scott Luther Replogle, MD

Had breast augmentation in 2000. MD's giving me annual breast exams couldn't tell I'd had augmentation. My breasts were natural and wonderful. Dr. Replogle and his staff were professional and supportive.

The process was made simple by the staff, however the Dr seems rushed or uninterested in the consult. My issue was the Dr wouldn't tell me the size of implant i was getting prior to surgery day. He said it's dependent on my chest measurements, which was a little concerning to me since I won't know what I'm getting until the day of. Small/medium/large were my only options. I emphasized medium but come surgery day I received small implants (200cc's overfilled to 215cc). My surgery went great & the recovery went well. I've had no issues but I am a disappointed in the size. If I knew I would get small implants, I would've just saved the $5-6k because I still have to wear a push up for any type of "oomph" or to look good in a bikini top. My review would be "average".

I have been a patient of the Dr since 1996 have had 2 breast augmentations due to my wanting larger breast after a great consult I have now been back for my 3rd surgery a week ago I am very picky and recommend him to everyone I am a very loyal and pleased patient I have never regret any of my re augmentations and absolutely love my body because of a great surgeon I feel great and confident

After 11 years of this nightmare I have to leave a review somewhere... I had breast augmentation in 2002, which was immedately wrong, I could tell right away that my right implant was WAY too high; it was inches from my collar bone and my natural breast was HANGING off of the implant. SO gross. The doc had placed it too high in the capsule,(NOT my FAULT!) he offered to fix, for $1000 more- WOW (shouldnt that be an "oops, I messed up, lemme fix that"?), what were my choices? Either pay or be deformed, even tho it was clearly the docs fault. So we went forward with surgery #2. Mind you, the pain worse than childbirth TWICE) They looked good, not great, but acceptable. Flash forward to 2009, woke up one day with a completely deflated left breast- who knows why- apparently it 'just happens' (only ME, i swear). Went in to discuss options for making me normal again and implant was still under warranty, so "only surgical fee would apply"- was talked into doing BOTH, a little bigger, brand new… warranty on both, to the tune of ANOTHER $2000 (both implants were free, only that dang 'surgical fee' again). The first 3 weeks they looked great, then the RIGHT breast suddenly STIFFENED up like a solid ROCK. Extrememly painful and hideous! Long story short, I had a capsule contracture-only on one side. Doc said there's really no cure- For $1500 more he'd TRY to release the capsule, NO GUARANTEES. I can't afford this kinda stuff! What a nightmare! So, now 2012, I still have one 'normal boob' and one solid ROCK, which often flares up with pain and is 2 sizes smaller than the other (since its so compressed) I cannot wear normal bras, tight shirts, a bathing suit, etc. Have been mocked and made fun of on social network sights, I'm in a long term relationship and he's very understanding and has been around thru all, but God forbid we broke up! I could NEVER be intimate with another man, HOW MORTIFYING! I understand "things happen", but would NOT recommend Dr. Replogle; I've spent close to $10,000 to look like a freak, with ZERO help fom this office. After the first disaster, there should have been SOME sort of effort to help me with the second, and I got nothing, even as I stood in their Photo room, BAWLING, while they took their freakish "AFTER" photos. I'm sure those didnt end up in his portfolio. :( I don't wish this life on anyone. If the implant manufacturer is guaranteeing their products, why doesn't the surgeon?

Dr. Replogle does not listen to what you want. I had to have revisions because of bad results of procedure. Talks down to you like you are an idiot. Acts like he's bored the entire time you talk to him. I'm not happy with my results. I do not recommend him. I wish I had used a different plastic surgeon. Other people I know have had disasterous results. His front of office staff is extremely nice and his nurse is amazing. They are the only good thing I could say about my visit.

I went to the Dr 7 years ago and from the inital appointment, thru my surgery and my after appointments I was more then pleased. The staff is awesome, willing to answer any questions and know what they are talking about. The Dr's bedside manner was awesome as well. I never felt uncomfortable or hesitant and every step was fully explained to me in total detail. This is a Dr who cares about the outcome of his work. I will and have reccomended Dr Replogle to several friends and they habve all been so happy with his work.
