Excellent, caring, and compassionate physician. It's easy to get an appointment and he always calls in prescriptions in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

Dr. Ruder listens to me and we work out changes together that best fits for me. He answers my questions and I am veery satisfied with him.

Honestly i see a lot of people on here writing negative comments about not being listened to. Dr Ruder is a psychiatrist not a psychologist. If you want to have a sessions and hug a teddy bear while you cry about how your mom hit you in the elbow one time, hes not your guys. Hes a quick session type of guy and i love that. I've been seeing him for 6 years almost and guy is a pro. I wont be changing doctors anytime soon.

Beware of HIS "issues" (hoping he gets therapy for these).... 1) Be on time! 2) Pay any bill you get for him - whatever it says, for whatever amount - don't try to discuss it with him 3) Don't follow rules 1 & 2 to HIS satisfaction and he WILL ABANDON you. INSTANTLY. Not even in person – no discussion. You’ll just get a letter in the mail. Even after seeing me for almost a decade. You’ll get no extra from him, and he doesn’t seem to understand or remember what your psych issues are, which might be causing your problems with rules 1 & 2. Can make you wonder who the REAL PATIENT is. (Since I’ve known him – he is changing & sinking - lower & lower.} My advice: RUN AWAY.

He would have me talk about whatever happened between visits, while seeming rather disinterested/irrelevant, because at the appointed time things always went the same with writing the refill prescription. I was glad when my GP took over medication management, and successfully assisted in getting me off it.
