I was a new patient with Dr. Russell. He was extremely courteous, asked lots of questions and was patient with me. I really liked his bedside manner.

Dr. Russell is the best doctor I have ever had. He is incredibly patient and kind. He listens to all of my concerns and does the best he can to address them.

I started going to Dr. Russell a few years ago, for a primary care doctor after my previous doctor quit taking my insurance. After my recent physical, my PSA came back 32. Normal is less than 4. I called two urologists for appointments, and both asked what was the PSA the last two years? So I called back to Dr. Russell's office to inquire, and found out they never ordered it the last two years, even though prostate cancer is the #2 cause of death among men in this country, and is to be monitored every year after age 50. The urologist's office was extremely surprised about that. I was shocked to find this out, and told his nurse I found that to be extremely negligent for a primary care doctor, who is a patients first one to go to for monitoring your health. Later that day Dr. Russell called, and left a message on my voicemail that the previous years appointments did not count, he called them "med checks" this is totally false, as the insurance company was billed the previous… years as physicals, and blood was drawn, to check the readings. The only reason he called, was because I made him nervous, when he realized he could have cost me my life. What an excuse maker. The sad thing is that is a very curable cancer when Caught early. This could have been there for several years, PSA normally raises slowly when it is not another issue, which it has been checked by two urologists. - its 90% likely to be cancer.

Great doctor, listens

My mom thinks he is the greatest doctor very compassionate , he listen to the patient needs he's keeping my mom alive and we are so thankful . God bless doctor Russell. ð???

Dr. Russell is a good doctor. He listens and is kind. Good bedside manner. I have referred several people to see him.

Worse DR. I have seen in 55 years - RUDE to my wife at the office for making us wait 45 minutes in a little office - she asked why and he replied in a VERY Rude manner. A Nasty man. I called about a perscription needed, they never call in when they say they do. I call to find out about a problem and instead of a quick phone calll he wanted to have me drive in a 20 minute drive, pay $65.00 out fo pocket so he could say a 30 second reply - when I called him on his inability to serve he sent a letter saying I WAS Threatening and Abusive, when all along it was him and his staff who acted this way - I was simply an ill patient...and he treated us like dirt. Hey Scott, you are no GOD - and hardly a Doctor since all you did was copy what the previous Dr. did - you did nothing new to help me out. RUN away while you can before he leads you down a pth of no good. AGAIN, worse DR I have seen in all of KC in 55 years - he nedss to get a job as a tire repairman, no Dr. here.,.TRUTH!

I have found Dr. Russell to be the most compassionate physician that I have ever had. He listens to all of your concerns and takes action where needed. I would highly recommend him because each and every time I have needed his care whether in the office or hospital he has always shown me that he truly cares about my health.

Dr. Russell is a wonderful doctor.He takes the time so you understand what is going on with all aspects of your health. He also listens.
