As soon as I met Dr Sanderson, I knew I was in incredible hands. After years of dealing with my neck non surgically, I sought out a second opinion. He walked into my appointment prepared, having reviewed years of imaging. He then went through my imaging with me in detail. His staff is just as incredible. From consult, to surgery, to recovery, he has been easily accessible. The office made the entire process easy and seamless. I am so happy with my decision to finally have surgery and I am even more grateful to have Dr Sanderson as my doctor.

Following months of cervical PT, I was experiencing weakness on my left side, tingling arms and legs, and weakening hand strength, dropping things daily. An MRI showed ligament calcification causing significant spinal cord compression. My orthopedist said I needed a spinal surgeon. Dr. Scott Sanderson gave me my life back. I came to him basically paralyzed from the waist down on my right side. I was completely unable to walk and facing the terrifying possibility of spending the rest of my life in a wheelchair due to a serious spinal condition. What makes my case especially unique is that even my MRI didn’t fully show the extent of the issue and the excessive amount of crimped nerves. Dr. Sanderson discovered the undetected problem with precision during surgery and successfully made modifications while operating, despite the pre-op report and pre-surgery plan. His surgical skill while handling my situation was outstanding. Now, a year post-operation and being able to enjoy activities like biking and skiing that I was enjoying before my spinal condition became apparent, I don’t believe there’s a situation that Dr. Sanderson can’t handle with the utmost care.
