I injured my back during work. Being on Workman’s Comp., I originally had to go to Concentra Clinic. Their staff dismissed my complaints, but due to worsening of my state, agred for consult Carolona Back Institute. Sanitate stated that without MRI, he can’t do anything. He requested MRI, but Concentra delayed approval until I was hospitalized. After release from the hospital, Sanitate took over my case. None of the “treatment modalities”, that he ordered, gave any results. He dismissed my complaints, and in my record noted, that I “overly” limp, then released me to work stating that my back pain was caused by gynecological problem, as the result of which, I had to have hysterectomy. I ended up with severe back pain and post-op pain and problems, but he washed his hands off me. Shortly afterwards, one of the patients of Carolina Back Institute (CBI), used an assault rifle to fire more than a dozen rounds at a 1991 Dodge Stealth, then shot himself with handgun. According to police.… the car reportedly belonged to Dr. Scott Sanitate, a physician at CBI. Police said Sanitate was not treating this patient and they believe neither the car nor the doctor was specifically targeted. Though official statement was that this patient wasn’t Sanitate’s patient, for some reason, he shot ONLY Sanitate’s car, out of all the cars on the parking lot ... Sanitate did great disservice to me and based on quite a few reviews above, to many other people. He obviously forgot the Hippocratic oath, where he promised “first, to do no harm” or in contemporary “Non-maleficence” - one of the principal precepts of bioethics that all medical students are taught in schools around the world - “given an existing problem, it may be better not to do something, or even to do nothing, than to risk causing more harm than good." Sanitate decided to do multiple “somethings” causing harm to me.
