Scott Schleunes, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Scott Schleunes is a fellowship-trained, board-certified reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon dedicated to providing comprehensive care for a wide range of foot and ankle conditions. He has specialized fellowship training in total ankle replacement and complex foot and ankle deformity correction. He attended St. Norbert College and then obtained his medical degree from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Illinois. He then completed residency at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, where he focused on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. Following residency, he went on to complete fellowship at the Northern California Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Fellowship, where he received advanced training in total ankle replacement and complex deformity correction. He is Board certified in both rearfoot and ankle surgery as well as foot surgery.Originally from Manitowoc, He is honored to serve his hometown community and bring his specialized training to the lakeshore area.My care …philosophy is centered on treating each patient as an individual, recognizing that no two patients have the same needs, experiences, goals, or circumstances. I believe in taking the time to listen, understand each patient's concerns, and develop a treatment plan that is tailored specifically to them. I strive to partner with patients in their care, considering their preferences, lifestyle, and individual goals when making treatment decisions. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care while building trust and ensuring that each patient feels heard, respected, and involved in their healthcare journey.
