Dr Schmidt and his entire team and staff are focused on providing the best in what they each and all do. Dr Schmidt kept me informed every step of the way and 'knew' immediately upon seeing my wound what was most likely (and in fact was) going on. His attention to his craft is excellent and I trust him completely. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Schmidt got rid of the pain in my hand after several failed tries from other docs.

Dr. Schmidt really cared about my hand issue. Surgery is never an easy choice but I felt very comfortable about my decision. I could not be more happy with the care I received and will refer to him in the future.

Dr Schmidt is an amazing surgeon! He did an unbelievable surgery on my husbands arm after a terrible car accident. Unfortunately, the ladies in the office make things very difficult. I had to have my husbands primary doctor send an approval over to them several times and they kept misplacing it. They also would not reach out to our insurance to work our issues with an approval for a second. surgery. Our insurance was confused why DR. Schmidt office was having me do all the legwork. We are still trying to get that second surgery and are not getting much help. We do not want to go to another surgeon because Dr. Schmidt is the best. Hoping they hire more people in the office that will fulfill their job responsibilities. Such a great doctor should have a better team.

Dr. Schmidt is by far the best hand surgeon in RI. I've had several surgeries on both hands and I would trust no one else. My husband is a type 1 diabetic who cut 3 fingers off, and Dr Schmidt reattached them and they healed back to almost their normal working function in a matter of weeks...thanks to his constant care and oversight. We have always felt like we were top priority to Dr. Schmidt. You will never find a more brilliant doctor, with an extraordinary bedside manner.
