Dr. Scott Daniel Segal, MD

Dr. Segal needs to read the reviews for his compass health systems practices which he is president of. Every single office is completely mismanaged and it is impossible for vulnerable patients to receive the mental healthcare they so desperately need. Shame on him for not taking care of these patients!!! He is the president of Compass Health Systems according to their website with his picture. There are nine office locations around the US and if you google each location it’s the same awful reviews for how mismanaged the practices are! Hundreds of reviews going back years!!! Why has nothing been done??? Compass Healthcare Systems should be dismantled and banned!!!

This guy is friendly, helpful, patient, knowledgeable, and flexible. Appointments with Dr. Segal are exactly what you make of them, and he's available when you need him if something goes sideways. Televisits during COVID could've gone smoother initially, but that's just a global thing as everyone struggles to meet the needs of their patients/customers under the "new normal". Phone calls are promptly returned, or answered by the doctor (rather than a receptionist). Their appointment calls are on-time, and there are options for video calls as well. One thing to mention is that calls from Compass Health seems to be blocked as spam by a lot of cell-providers' screening apps (T-Mobile's Name ID was the app that did it for me). Be sure to ask for all phone numbers that they'll be calling from (including the pharmacy) when you make your initial call, and then whitelist them in the app from your provider. After Dr. Segal helped to iron out the initial wrinkles, the… whole process is seamless. I actually prefer this to the old way of doing things. A phone call is the absolute simplest way to do this, and I hope it becomes the norm. Say again: this guy's great.

Brilliant, well trained, kind, great bedside manner.

Dr. Segal and his personal staff , Kristin and Bonnie especially do nothing but care about helping people.

His staff was very trashy, when I went to his office he seemed to care less that I was there. I went there once and never came back.

Scott personable and appears knowledgeable. Spreads himself thin...2 appts with him...the first I waited over 1.5 hours, the second appt he was AWOL--after waiting approx 30 minutes was told he was not there I could see a physicians assistant. The front office staff presents lackadaisical. Lots of medical students. The waiting room houses an interesting assortment of patients.

Dr. Segal participates in tons of research and helps many patients get care and medications they would otherwise be unable to access.

Awful. Awful. Awful. Do not go to any of his offices. His doctors are awful and forget calling to make an appointment! The phones are always down. Office wait time is excessive. Doctors- too many. Waiting room is crammed with people like cattle. Never going back.
