He is a diplomate of the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. A longtime Enid resident, he and his family remain active in the community—Dr. Shields is a licensed pilot and scuba diver who enjoys travel when not caring for patients.
