Dr. Scott Steven Simecek II, DO

Dr Simecek is great! I have been with him for 9 years now. He is very caring. He has been great with diagnosing my issues. He will keep trying different therapies until he finds the best solution for you. Highly recommended!

I went to see Dr Simecek, he spent a grand total of 5 minutes in the room with me ( he asked me questions while he read emails on his phone). He set me up with a sleep study. I did it, and heard nothing back from his office. 6 weeks later a medical device company called to schedule installation of my CPAP. I asked why I needed one, they said they got an order for one from the Drs office. I called the Drs office to schedule an appointment to go over the study results. The receptionist told me there was no need to see the Dr because SHE had looked at my file and determined that a CPAP was needed. I told her I would feel more comfortable hearing the reasons I needed one from the doctor. She told me that he didn’t see patients “just to go over test results, only if there was a problem”. I hung up and went and found a real doctor. Don’t waste your time, he doesn’t seem to care.

To be fair, we have never seen this doctor. Made my son an appointment, had to be on a Friday because of his class schedule and a full time college student out of town. Waited over a month for the appointment and the office calls to cancel a week and a half before. Rescheduled and unfortunately it didn't work for my sons schedule. Now we are expected to wait another month. No thank you. We will find a new doctor. I've never had a doctor cancel an appointment before, unless of course it was an emergency.

I have been seeing Dr. Simecek for some time now. I absolutely love him. I trust him with my life great bedside manner and wonderful doctor. Like I said I have been going there for a while the office staff in Clarkston is like a revolving door with the exception of one person everytime I ask her for help such as a refill she always tells me she will do it and it never happens, she is very rude not only to me but to others that I have experienced her with. after my last appointment with him i was talking to another patient who has had the same problems with her, she told me her name was Beth maybe they are switching the wrong people in the office. My five year old could do a better job. I worked at an allergist office and if I ever acted like that I wouldn't have had a job.
