As a highly trained Dawson Academy dentist, Dr. Smolarek stands out with the comprehensive approach to dentistry he delivers time after to time to each patient who wants totally confident results. Education
Dr. Smolarek graduated magna cum laude with a degree in biology at the University of Buffalo and Buffalo State College. He continued his education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with the title of Doctor of Dental Medicine (DDM), and received the Elliot Brodie Award for Clinical Excellence, awarded to a graduating dental student who shows outstanding skill and talent in the field of dentistry. Dr. Smolarek then completed his General Practice Residency Program with the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Smolarek has studied under Dr. Peter Dawson, who is considered one of the most influential clinicians and teachers in the history of dentistry, and who founded the Dawson Academy. TheDawsonAcademy.com
Career and Qualifications
In addition to private practice, Dr. Smolarek has been an attending dentist for the Erie County Medical Center's Dental Residency Program. Dr. Smolarek is currently Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine's Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department. He is a member of the American Dental Society, the New York Dental Society, and the 8th District Dental Society.
Personal Interests
Dr. Smolarek currently resides in Buffalo, where he was born and raised. In his free time, Scott enjoys traveling, sports, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
