I've gotten great care for my glaucoma, and then for cataracts. Surgery for both was very successful, and the follow-up has been quite professional. Dr. Scott So is a consummate surgeon and a great communicator.

Does not offer the newest meds available, pushes invasive surgery

I couldn't be more happy with Dr. So. He came highly recommended from my most discerning friends. After the first visit, he exceeded my highest expectations. Great bedside manner; genuinely displays that he cares about his patients in what he says and does. Communicates with the purpose of ensuring that his patients understand what he is saying. Recognized and demonstrated expertise in critical areas of vision particularly as people age. Best is not a good enough rating for such a person. He is better than best in my opinion.
