When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I wasn't sure about oncology and the idea of chemotherapy. He arranged for a genetic test that told me I didn't need chemo for my breast cancer. He is thorough and answers all my questions.

If you’re a patient of Dr Scott Summers please immediately find someone who is a good doctor if you value you’re life Scott Summers is a horrible doctor....... Runnnnnn to find a new Physician.

2018 I have been seeing Dr.Sommers for five years. After my first Oncologist retired, I was fortunate to be assigned to Dr Sommers. I am a senior lady, strong willed, and have reached a point in my life where "it is my body, do not dictate to me." We will discuss the issue, and I will determine ya or na ! Dr Sommers is very open to listening to my input. He is a highly intelligent man, and I respect him, but the bottom line is "it is my body." He has cared for me through tough times, and so far the good years. Hope we continue traveling this journey together however it shakes out ! I know I will have great care. Dr Sommer 's has the " E" gene EMPATHY Thanks to all the Kershaw Health staff (Nancy Rose you are a sweet, dear soul) I have had excellent care throughout all my health issues! Bigger isn't always better. Thank you, Carolyn Johnson
