Dr. Scott Edward Sparks, MD

Dr. Sparks was not unconcerned about my concerns with abdominal pain. He was not empathetic and rude.

THE AMBULANCE TOOK MY HUSBAND TO PRMC WITH A HEADACHE OVER HIS EYE, AND CONFUSION ,DR SPARKS TOLD ME HE HAD DEMENTIA AND COULD TAKE HIS LICENCE AWAY FROM HIM RIGHT NOW, THEY TOOK BLOOD AND FINALLY AFTER 4 HRS HE DECIDED HE WOULD TAKE A BRAIN SCAN , WELL BY THEN HIS BRAIN WAS COMPLETELY FILLED WITH BLOOD AND ALSO THE PRESSURE WAS TO THE LIMIT IN HIS BRAIN, IF HE HAD GOT MY HUSBAND SOON AS HE WAS TAKEN TO ER A BRAIN SCAN THEN THE BLEEDING COULD HAVE BEEN STOPPED, IT TOOK HIM ANOTHER 3 HRS AFTER NERO SURGEON LOOK AT MY HUSBAND TO GET A HOSPITAL TO TAKE HIM SO 11PM THEY FINALLY GOT A HELICOPTER TO TAKE HIM TO WASHINGTON HOSPITAL , HE STAYED THERE 5 1/2 WEEKS THEN TAKEN TO A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED REHAB IN NEW PORT NEWS VA, FOR REHAB, THEN 3 MONTHS TO A REHAB IN PARKSLEY VA AND FINALLY HAD HIM BROUGHT UP TO NURSING HOME IN SALISBURY WHERE HE LASTED 2 WEEKS BEFORE I LOST HIM, I BURIED MY HUSBAND 8 MONTHS AGO YESTERDAY BUT IF HE HAD SOMEONE ONE ELSE OTHER THEN DR SPARKS THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN… SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW WHEN A 78 YR OLD MALE GOES TO A ER WITH HEAD HURTING AND CONFUSED, FIRST THING IS LOOK FOR STROKES AND THAT IS WHAT MY HUSBAND HAD SO DR SPARKS SHOULD NEVER BE ALOUD IN ANY HOSPITAL, HE COULD HAVE SAVED HIM BUT INSTEAD LET HIM LAY THERE AND SUFFER OVER 5 MONTHS AND THEN PASSING AWAY, I WOULDN;T TAKE A ANIMAL TO HIM, I HAVE TOLD EVERYBODY I KNOW NEVER LET DR SPARKS TOUCH YOU!!!!

After almost 24hrs of constant contraction like cramping at 11 weeks pregnant i rushed to prmc dr.sparks was my assigned doctor tho i only spoke with him upon my arrival to my room he orderd a ultrasound bloodwork and urine test after all testing was done and with no explanation except for being pregnant i was discharged by the nurse not Even speaking with Dr.Sparks only an er nurse who was basically my doctor and nurse given that prmc was not extremely busy i didnt understand but didnt question it and took my discharge papers and left only to wake up the next morning confused when labor fluids began running down my leg i rushed back to prmc less than 10mins after arriving while waitin for Dr.Dale to do a pelvic exam that should have been performed the previous night i began bleeding ????i was miscarrying and nor i or the childsfather were happy aasking where dr.sparks was and snapped needless to say. It wasnt a pretty sight.he should not work in emergency services and prmc is the… worst hospital in maryland i will go to agh before i return to prmc
