Dr. Scott Perry Stein, DO

I've only been seeing Dr.Stein for about three months now but I already love his attitude and the way he goes into detail about what he is going to order and do. I highly recommend him!

Dr Stein takes a very detailed medical history, actually listens and does not treat you like you are crazy and just need a therapist. He takes his time to listen to you and give feedback. He does his absolute best to find the most appropriate treatment for you and is not offended by questions or suggestions. He does not rush to a rash decision. My only wish is that I had found him sooner. I have not one bad thing to say about this doctor.

He is great. You have to be honest and forth coming with him so he knows where to look and ask you questions.

Originally I went to see Dr. Stein for what I thought was Fibromyalgia. I had severe muscle pains that may have been attributed to statin meds. Dr. Stein put it all together, noticed I needed an x ray for my left hip, and determined I have moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis in my left hip. He gave me excellent medication for my condition, recommended an improved diet, and a swimming exercise program .He said I was fortunate to be thin, and said to "stay that way" in order to prevent putting stress on that hip. Had I not gone to see Dr. Stein, I'd be in pain, and I never would have known about my hip problem..which he is successfully treating! He's a pleasure to talk with..his staff is courteous and very helpful..especially when I call with a question or two. I'm very appreciative to Dr. Stein for improving the quality of my life.

CALLED TO CONFIRM AN APPT... ANSWERING MACHINE PICKED UP. OFFICE WAS ALREADY CLOSED BY 4.15 PM .WHY WHEN YOUR TO CLOSE AT 430??

office bills to much for medication cost to insurance vs cost of medication. Left wondering if I had right dose of medication after listening to office staff talk. Condition did improve until had same treatment somewhere else...Office nurses were nice. Office staff not so much

Need to find better office staff. Lady answering in the phone had difficult accent, or was eating candy when I spoke with her. Since we are private pay, I basically got the 'brush-off' and only available appointment was 2 months away. suggested we just go to the emergency room! Not helpful. Does not offer discounts for private pay customers.
