Dr. Scott Andrew Strelow, MD

I am very pleased with Dr. Strelow but have had a very unsatisfactory experience with his office staff. I tried to make an appointment with Dr. Strelow who did not have any openings in the time frame I needed for insurance purposes. The office suggested another "doctor" but they scheduled me with an optometrist instead of an opthalmologist without informing me of the difference. This created an insurance problem. When I found out and called them , they were unable to make any accommodations. I have since left the practice for another very qualified opthalmologist who was happy to consider my insurance circumstance under a much lesser time frame. I have been a medical office manager for over 30 years in a private practice and would never have made this kind of substitution without informing the patient. I find this behavior unacceptable.
