Dr. Suntrup grew up in the St. Louis area. He graduated from St. Louis University in 1989 with a B.S. Degree in Biology. He then graduated from S.I.U.E. School of Dental Medicine in 1993. He furthered his education by completing a General Practice Residency at Washington University Barnes/Jewish Hospital. He practiced for 14 years in St. Louis, MO prior to moving to Flora, IL where his wife grew up.  Dr. Suntrup and his family unjoy the small town life and all of the outdoor activities that it has to offer.
The staff at Southern Illinois Smiles have the unique ability to make each patient feel welcome, relaxed, and at ease during their dental visit. This is possibly due to the many years of experience that the staff has to offer. By using the over 100 years of combined experience you will enjoy a friendly experience that will meet all of your expectations.
