Dr. Scott Tong, MD

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Tong for almost 20 years. He has been there for us even when we were traveling on vacation (on a cruise off the coast of Iceland!!!). He is caring, compassionate and a fantastic physician. Night or day, week day or weekend, holiday or work day, Dr. Tong is available and takes care of our health needs. My entire family loves him, and highly recommends him!!!

For more than 20 years I have been a patient of Dr. Scott Tong. He has treated my many ailments, both minor and many fairly serious, and each time did so with compassion and a high degree of medical knowledge. Dr. Tong will also refer you to a specialist when ever needed. I trust my life and my family members to Dr.Tong and strongly recommend him to all ages.

Dr Tong is my physician for more than 20 years. It is easy to get in touch with him by phone. He is very patient and empathetic to the concerns of my medical conditions. I highly recommend Dr. Scott Tong as a personal physician. I had high expectations when I started and he has met or exceeded all of them. Dr. Tong has good communication skills, takes the time to respond thoroughly to questions, references other professionals as needed, and cares about my health and concerns. I like the fact that he continues to educate himself on the latest medical issues and resolutions. He engages with his patients by arranging and participating in health walks and hosting on-line meetings with medical guest speakers. I also know that if and when I spend time in a hospital, Dr. Tong will visit and review hospital staff notes. I will add that Dr. Tong’s staff does an excellent job providing friendly and professional service, kindness and quick responses to my inquiries.

Dr. Scott Tong can finally be the doctor he has always wanted to be but was not allowed to be while in the Torrance Memorial Group. Dr. Tong has always been a great doctor to me and this is why I have been his patient for over 15 years, however, since he opened his own practice, I am very happy and cannot thank him enough for the deep level of care and concern he gives to me. Not to mention the very kind and efficient office manager, Luci and also Maribel, the medical assistant. This feels more like a dependable caring family to me than a business. I feel safer in an odd sort of way as a patient of Dr. Tong's concierge practice even though I am relatively young and take no medications; it is just knowing he is literally a text message away any time any day. Amazing care for anything that concerns me, even if it is 4:30PM that I call to get help, I can be seen. Maribel and Luci help with facilitating a comfortable appointment. Grateful.

We always adored him, very happy he made the move to concierge medicine where he is now able to spend time with his patients. He (along with staff) go even further with walks in the park, grocery shopping and bringing in a dietitian, all to further the health of his patients. Or only do we recommend him, I gave his info to a friend at the gym who wanted to find a good Dr. with a good bedside manner, something he excels at.

I am a healthcare professional, and my entire family has been going to Dr. Tong for years. I would consider Dr. Tong a doctor’s doctor. Doesn’t get any better!
