Dr. Scott Udoff, DDS

I would NEVER recommend this dentist to anyone. He does NOT care for his patients, only their money. I was swindled out of nearly $10,000 for an extensive TMJ treatment that I was manipulated into believing that my health would deteriorate without this treatment. The appliance he made which he claimed was “invincible”, broke in my hands, to which he insinuated I was lying. I had to pay for the repairs for his mistake of not fitting it correctly for my mouth which lead to it breaking. It was then that he realized I had been wearing an ill-fitted appliance for 7/8 months which caused me immeasurable pain and caused my bottom gums to recede. When I called the office to speak with the doctor about why it wasn’t working and how he could fix it they claimed he was busy with his patients and refused to speak with me. He refuses to refund me for any of my lost money.

Very disappointed, I paid upfront almost a month in advance 150 dollars that was required for a consultation on a tooth that needed to be pulled and a new one put in. The tooth cracked a few days after my phone call and few weeks before my appt. I begged but He could not find a time in three weeks to fit me in to help. I understood if he was that booked however I had to get the tooth taken care. The pain was horrible for me so I went to another specialist and he took care of it before his first appt for me. Without a consultation fee. Dr Udoff would not cancel or refund my 150 although he made no effort to get me in earlier and I no longer needed him as the other dentist took care of it. I think waiting another three weeks in pain was not appropriate. I'm sure he could have filled my appt as he could not get me in for an emergency in three weeks for a cracked tooth. He would not refund the consultation fee. Very unethical Beware of dentists that it’s all about the money

I've been going to Dr. Udoff for the past ten years. He treats you with great respect and is a very caring Dr. He has a wonderful staff and also has a great hygenist. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Udoff is an outstanding dentist, and excels in perfecting himself within dentistry, there is no complaint there. However, consistent audits by the insurance, a HIPA concern, and a very poor front office management capability make visits and billing worrisome. After paying an exorbitant amount of fees upfront, I am still receiving bills that do not add up to the complete amount, my insurance has audited claims twice due to missing information that should have been provided, along with random scheduling that appears out of nowhere, then being hit with a "missed/cancellation fee", even though notification to the front office was given over three weeks in advance that I cannot make the stated appointment. To add, is a HIPA concern, whereas my information ended up being given to someone who I had not approved to receive such information. After confronting Dr Udoff with this, very apologetic to me, and ensured it would not happen again. Within a week of the confrontation, I was informed… that he had told the same individual that "he can't give any of 's information them". Repeatedly during the individual's visit, where the individual never asked about it. This to me is nothing short of arrogance on a level I cannot express here due to vulgarity. The final straw happened recently, where my listed emergency contact, was called to confirm an appointment. An appointment is not an emergency on any level that I can figure. Between the poor billing practices, the inept abilities of the front office, the HIPA concern, the arrogance, and the lack of common sense scheduling, enough is enough. Outside of his horrific management team, I would recommend Dr Udoff due to his skill and excellent craftsmanship in his art, but that's if you can handle the front office idiocy, and the arrogant attitude that rears it's head every so often.
