Dr. Scott Wiener, MD

Doctor Scott at Prisma Wellness was amazing. This is the first that time I see a doctor that helps with my panic attacks, adhd and cigarette smoking. He took the time to understand how I felt, but also did a comprehensive genetic testing that explained why I was feeling the way I did and it turned out that genetics had a lot to do with it! He then provided me with a course of treatment that included specific supplements and diet. He’s changed my life!

this doctor exceeded all of my expectations. HE uses not only traditional medicine but newer genetic based research to make sure you get the best care possible at all times. Highly suggest above all the rest.

Dr. Scott has been fantastic! I have had a lot of problems almost my entire life dealing with ADHD. I tried medications when I was younger and in school but I am older now and providing for a family. I noticed I was having a lot more trouble focusing and completing tasks the older I got and I knew I needed to do something. Not only is he very understanding and actually LISTENS! But…. He also provides such advanced testing as a DNA test to find out what prescriptions I should not be on and find something that would work for me right away rather than doing the trials of this and that before we knew what would work and what would cause horrendous side effects! That is something that is above and beyond when you are trying to support a family!! I am so grateful!!

I have been seeing Dr Wiener for about six months and find the experience to be positive. Dr Wiener is a younger doctor who seems to be aware of the latest medications in addition to having a good understanding of the brain neurotransmitter system. Although I have had trouble getting in contact with the office when they are closed, all of my in-office experience have been well managed by staff and doctor alike. Even though the typical medication management appointment is 15 minutes, it never feels rushed. Dr Wiener is conservative in his approach, only trying one medication at a time, at the lowest dose, with sufficient patient time on the drug to identify side effects and benefits. He is a friendly, easygoing doctor who is a pleasure to work with. I recommend him to anyone seeking a psychiatrist, especially to those with in-network insurance coverage (since he accepts many plans).

Dr Wiener has an incredibly vast knowledge of the brain, pharmacology, emotions and to put it simply people. He synthesizes all of these skills when understanding, diagnosing and treating you. He is professional yet approachable. I felt as if he had a keen understanding of all aspects that make up a person; mind, body and my spirit while speaking with me. I never felt rushed and I felt like my personal situation really mattered to him. I am so very impressed and I would highly recommend him. I have been fortunate to have met with some of the best doctors in the world and would consider Dr Wiener to be one of them.

Dr. Wiener is so nice and caring. He does not push medication and I didn't feel rushed at all during my appointment. I felt comfortable talking to him right away. It was also great to be able to fill out the preliminary paperwork online before my appointment so I could take my time.
