Dr. Scott Zimmer, MD

Have gone to Dr S Zimmer for 24 years , he is the kindest doctor I’ve ever met and love his staff The more important factor is he will not do surgery unless it’s absolutely necessary

Met him when I broke ankle in places it was emergency surgery Since then had massive tear of rotator cuff which he repaired no more pain then fainted broke every bone in wrist called Dr Zimmer he took me right to surgery What I like and respect he will not do surgery just to do it He’s very professional and so is his staff’

The take away from this is they don’t care, flat out. They will mock your concerns and questions, I had made a request about OT and was laughed at, this was right after I was told my elbow pain “sucks” and to “wrap a towel around it”. They will not keep you overnight your day of surgery, you will be kicked out before you are ready. They do prescribe a mail order 2,000$ script for Toradol that is only 5 sprays worth, so you better be aware, you squirt more than one spray up your nose a day, that it, and if you DO ask your going to get treated just like I did a CRIMINAL . This is of course if you get it. They will do a HACK job on your incision. How dare you tell a patient how much pain they are or aren’t supposed to be in 2 days post op and now a week. My advice if you still want to see this provider make sure you have plenty of whisky and a leather belt to gnaw on because it will be a VERY painful ride. I am not returning to this practice, after how I have been treated, it… reaffirms why I do NOT trust doctors. I feel for the patient that has a total shoulder replacement with him and gets an hour in pacu and sent on his way with nothing but a bag of ice and a good ol “ Well you just had surgery, that SUCKS”. Well I think when you and your PA’s arrogance get in the way of patient care that SUCKS.

I have never in my life been treated so poorly. The lady who answers the phone I believe is Jessica and has just lost a great Doctor another patient.

I tore my rotator cuff very badly. The MRI looked like a plate of shredded crab meat to me. Dr. Zimmer and his staff fixed me up great. Not like new yet, but getting there. I'm just glad to be able to golf and use my arm again. A special thanks goes to the rehab group that paid special attention to my recovery. If you have to have it done, this is the place.

I felt instant relief from a trigger finger and carpel tunnel problems after the surgery. He and his team are awesome.

I recently called to see if I could move up appt since my family dr said I need to see an orthopedic dr sooner then later fractured shoulder. I’ve had seen dr Zimmer before he also did surgery on a frozen shoulder. He is awesome dr. But his staff is rude and do not listen to you. Try to explain situation and Jessica kept interrupting which in turn was making me angry. Then to top it all off in a middle of sentence hangs up on me. I call back ask to speak to office manager. According to her she’s the only one in office. Then all of sudden someone else in office supposedly a nurse. But when she answer the phone five minutes later did not indentify herself as nurse until I asked her what’s her title. Because of the rudeness I will not go back there again. What a shame he lost two patients and advertisement word of mouth. Jessica needs to be retrained on respect and patient service.

Dr. Zimmer and his staff were kind, caring and professional. His treatment on my hand made me pain free and gave me back my mobility. My right hand is comfortable. Now I will return for treatment on my left hand. Thank you, thank you Dr Zimmer!

Dr. Zimmer is a great doctor! Please know whether it is hand/wrist or shoulder problems, Dr. Zimmer has vast experience with treating the whole area and that includes biceps. I wouldn't trust any other doctor to give me a cortisone shot either, except Dr. Zimmer. The office is well staffed and wait times are less than for most doctors that I have ever been to. Dr. Zimmer is also proactive with making sure the patient gets the propert physical therapy and the number of "PT" visits are more than adequate I feel for helping a patient to recover if the patient sticks to the program to continue with them. I am pleased with Dr. Zimmer's care of my hand/wrist and shoulder issues and wouldn't want to lose him!

No one likes pain or facing a surgery but I was so at ease with Dr. Zimmer and his staff that I actually had fun while getting fixed up. Very professional yet friendly with great results from the surgery! Speedy recovery too.
