Dr. Sean Christopher Adelman, MD

Dr. Adelman was the surgeon for my mom?s broken femur. Right after surgery her foot and shin were rotated inwards. We asked about the rotation of her leg and without much review he said “muscle spasms”. 2 weeks later was told my mom would have to live with her leg rotated in. Now, 6 weeks later she needs a hip replacement to correct the issue. Disappointed our concerns were not addressed initially after raising the issue numerous times.

Dr. Adelman has operated on both my shoulders with great success. While there were closer facilities for the surgeries, I would drive to another state if required to appreciate and benefit from his expertise. From the initial visit through the farewell session you know he is supporting you and has a team that respects him so much, that glow shines onto his patients. He elevates you to a position of input by listening, including you in the steps required for a healthy recovery, and brought my husband onto the playing field by sharing concerns and suggestions about our options. I will miss his energy and positive attitude when i am healed, which will be soon.

My primary care doctor referred me to Dr. Adelman after I was injured at work. I really can't say enough good things - if you're willing to do the work and you're lucky enough to have this guy in your corner on your path to recover then I don't believe you can do anything else to improve your odds for a return to full mobility. I feel truly fortunate for the experience.

Years ago I had so much pain in elbow and left shoulder but very little bone to work with. But he did surgery and no more pain He is a wonderful doctor and always listened. Now shoulder hurts again and can not lift my left arm. Alta Daniel

When I first met DR. Adelman, I thought to myself this guy looks pretty young, but man was I wrong, what seemed to be a reasonably straightforward shoulder replacement, say couple hours, well when he got in there he saw that the area needed quite a lot of attention, so almost 4 and a half hours later, I was back in my room. Bravo Doc, & thank you for the pain insert worked great. I usually tend not to really like all doctors, but I was very lucky to have Sean available to do my shoulder replacement. A week away from 3 years since, & no problems, but if I ever need any more bone replacements Dr. Sean Adelman will be my choice

I'm sitting in his office writing this now. Came in originally for a shoulder follow up (did a good surgery on it) but had an emergency with my leg and ankle. All my other docs dragged thier feet and didn't seem to listen as well. He immediately took care of me, listened and made sure I had all my questions answered. After two weeks of appointments with my primary and not the help I wanted, he got me set up with an xray, ankle specialist, MRI and boot. He really seems to care about the patient, and getting people back to work and healed properly. And his staff was excellent as well.

Very approachable and easy to talk to. Gave me all the options for the surgery, and gave me choices whether to live with the discomfort or have the surgery. I chose the surgery and he was attentive and very very good. I would whole recommend him to anyone with rotator cuff issues!

Dr. Adelman repaired my rotator cuff two years ago and my outcome has been wonderful. People see me and ask how the shoulder is doing and my response is 'good as new!' So, he's an excellent surgeon and what's more is a very humble man with a great bedside manner. He is clear, engaging and consults with his patients regarding what can be done and what to expect. To me, he's a star and someone whom I would heartily recommend to anyone needing orthopedic surgery.

This gentleman was phenomenal. from the first visit to explore options through the follow-ups after surgery, i felt Dr. Adelman was a team with myself and my husband, totally working towards my recovery -which was great.
