Dr. Sean Gregory Burgest, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Burgest for close to 10 years and without him I would not be able to live a productive life! This man truly cares about his patients!

I came to see Dr. Burgest, to get a second opinion, after I spent 1 and a half years at, THE PAIN SPECIALISTS OF AUSTIN, being their science experiment. I went through well over a dozen injections and treatments after being brainwashed that these were my only treatment options and next, the ONLY treatment option was the Spinal Cord Stimulater. After over a year and a half of failed treatments AT THE PAIN SPECIALISTS OF AUSTIN and causing my condition to worsen, a friend suggested that I see Dr. Burgest at PAIN SOLUTIONS OF HARKER HEIGHTS. Since the moment I walked into Dr. Burgests office I noticed a difference. The patient wait time was considerably less, I actually saw a MD doctor, and he didn't corner me into getting a SCS. I was brainwashed by PAIN SPECIALISTS OF AUSTIN to think that no medication or other treatment options would work to control my RSD/CRPS except the SCS AND THEY WERE DEAD WRONG. I am so thankful that I did not go through with that decision. When you are… suffering from chronic pain, a doctor can persuade you to eat dirt and you will do it (extreme exaggeration to make a point), if they are positive and absolutely sure that the treatment they are recommending will cause your pain to be considerably less or near no pain. When you can't sleep and are miserable every single day, day in and day out, you look for a solution and you hope that the doctor you are entrusting your health with has your best interest in mind, instead of viewing you as a constant generation of cash flow operating at the maximum profit level. I finally got my life back with Dr. Burgest. He listened to my problems, concerns, and complaints. We worked on managing my pain together, instead of cornering me into the treatment options that are the most expensive and beneficial for him, instead of me as the patient. I can't tell you enough what a quality physician Dr. Burgest has been and what a difference he has made in my life.

Dr Burgest is the best I have been to. He is veery professional and cares for his patients.

Ive been seeing dr burgest for almost 4 months now and I love him. Hes very good at what he does and is always been good with me. Hes the only pain doctor who has actually tried things tk help with my pain. Hes a amazing doctor and I highly recommend him!!!!

I feel that he is not very trusting. I am in a severe amount of pain when I do not take pain medications, but yet he let me run out and is forcing me to wait a whole week before he will see which me he gets paid again whether he gives me a prescription or not. He likes to play games with patients and he doesn't really care about there pain. He really needs to grow up and be a man, because he cannot even tell you face to face that he doesn't plan to give you your meds, he has his secretary lady who is old and shaking and you can't get mad at her. I need my pain to be managed, but I can't find another doctor. In the meantime, I am suffering great pain and distress. I think he has something against me personally, but he has not even taken the time to get to know me as a patient.
