Dr. Sean Alexander Castellucci, DO

Was the most wonderful doctor when I first starting going to him but over the years, his dedication seems to have waned. The office has always been awful even with telling the doctors how bad it is. They always say they are working on it. Dont return phone calls, cancel surgeries the morning of, lie about the reasons, cancel appointments at last minute, dont fill correct prescriptions, leave at least 4 containers of urine the the cabinet in a public restroom and on and on. Someone also mentioned they had problems with Dr. Stacey South working with him. I used her as a doctor also and she was great in the beginning but soon found out she was WAY over booking and I ended up waiting over 1 1/2 hours and once they left me in the exam room and forgot about me - they were actually closing up and realized I was still there. Also you will NEVER get your records from her - she never updates them and doesnt want you to know that. My new ONC GYN said they could never get ANY records from… her for any of their paients that used to use her. The last time with Dr. Castellucci, I had to wait weeks to get my stent taken out and it was excuse after excuse about it. I hope this helps you look for another urologist. I give you this info not to be ill willed to them but to help other people to have an informed choice. Read the other reviews - they say the same thing.

If you're searching or referred to him, look elsewhere. He does not have your best interest & your life is not an issue with him. He performed a surgery along with Stacey South a different surgery (look elsewhere also) I have atypical plasma pseudocholinesterase & succinylcholine is to be avoided. I was given it anyhow which caused me intraoperative cardiac arrest, intraoperative cerebrovascular infarction & hypertension. I was a fit & healthy individual with no significant co-morbidities before surgery. I don't remember anything but the time I got to a room & Stacey South asking me if I could see. They never told me what happened. Castellucci discharged me 20 hrs later with no follow-up/aftercare, medication, or rehabilitation. I was sent home to fend for myself. My health declined & I now have severe brain damage. I had to find out through my portal rather than out of their mouth which is pathetic for someone who took an oath to become a doctor. They both looked me in my eyes & said… surgery went well & I did great. My follow-ups were just for the surgeries they did. Would you want what happened to me happen to you or a family member? I sent certified mail to both asking for my records & left voicemails only to be ignored & denied. My surgery record has 'altered' as the status & not authenticated. I no longer have my quality of life.

My husband has had some bladder and prostate issues. Dr. Castellucci has performed two surgeries on my husband and we are very happy with the overall experience. The doctor has a wonderful "bedside manner" and is quite friendly and kind. The office has accommodated us when my husband's bladder decided not to empty itself and he needed an emergency catheter. (Also, yikes! A catheter seems exceptional painful as I watched twice as it was inserted!) They had us come in immediately and emptied it in the office. Because of this, I'm rating this office as a five. Is there a wait? Yes. We now know this might be because someone else could be having a real emergency. We have had a rough time getting a prescription (prescribed in person by Dr. Castellucci) but the office has given us several months of samples. Our insurance company states they just need a prior authorization and has sent the requests many times to Dr. Castelluci's office. We have also called once a week for 15 weeks and left a… nice message. 15 messages. Our phone keeps track ;) I just heard back from the office today and they stated that we need to come into the office again for the doctor to prescribe that. I explained we have seen Dr. Castelluci a dozen or more times in the last six months. I was told to call for another appointment tomorrow. This was a hard answer to handle and my emotions didn't take it well after I hung up. Thankfully my husband is out of the house and I am simply telling him we need to see the doctor again. The younger woman at check out (Kate?) is amazing. She is pure sunshine and recognizes us. Another nurse (?) has the same birthday as my husband and we also adore her. Urologists in this area seem packed and I think this office does a good job at handling the flow.

Poor Practice u wait 2 weeks for biopsy results then he wont give u cat scan results and has the nurse assist start treating ith estrogen shots and prolia and he is not available to give u results low low class practice must be hungry for money practice

Dr C has helped make my life pain free for an extended amount of town. The procedures that I’ve had done each year has taken my pain away and given me so much relief. No other Doctor has known what to do.

Dr Sean was very thorough with his description of the procedure and the purpose of it.

Was in and out quickly.

I like the Doctor he is thorough.

Timely check-in, personnel friendly and helpful, short wait to see physician.

Dr Castellucci is the best.
