Dr. Sean Rondon Chappin, MD

Dr. Chappin does not follow national standards of healthcare. At an intake appointment, he failed to do a professional diagnostic evaluation, asking me only yes and no questions. After only 15 minutes, he failed to refill my prescriptions, claiming that the clinic would not take my insurance for psychotherapy even though it later covered this intake for medication management.

I've been a patient of Dr. Chappin for a few years now. He is attentive, thoughtful, well informed, and is very patient forward. Blessed to have him as my doctor. thank you

I accidentally missed an appointment because I currently have a lot going on and Dr. Chappin called me back with an attitude. Explained that because I missed the appointment (my FIRST and ONLY missed appointment) he doesn’t get paid and I prevented someone else from getting the help they needed. When I apologized and tried to explain that this was the first time, I have a lot going on, and it won’t happen again, he tried arguing with me saying that this wasn’t the first time and that this has become a pattern. Very unprofessional for a mental health professional to put down their patient like that and it was the only time I missed an appointment (trust me, I can’t afford to miss more than 1 with that $75 fee). I got off the phone with him, immediately called another psychiatrist to make an appointment elsewhere and will NEVER be going back. Plus, the appointments were cold, impersonal, and lasted about 3-5 minutes. A waste of my gas to even go.

On my very first visit I waited 20 minutes then asked the receptionist (as the sign posted suggested). When Sean finally came out he was annoyed and he asked me if I was neurotic or just crazy. I should have left right then but I was in shock. He spend the rest of our session eating cereal and talking about himself. How he is still in practice is beyond me.

Dr. Chaplin has been my doctor since I found him on an emergency basis coming out of the hospital. He has been immediatly response whenever I needed him and I recommend him without reservation.

Dr. Chappin is an excellent doctor who listens closely to every word conveyed to him. He is easy to talk to and makes various suggestions regarding the path that you might follow to restore your good health. He is sensitive to your wants and needs. I genuinely feel that he is well suited for his profession, and I am fortunate to be working with him. He returns calls made to him quickly.

don't ask him to fill out any paperwork for you. He gives you are really hard time. makes you feel stupid for asking questions. doesn't seem to care about his patients.

Worst psychiatrist I've ever seen

Waited almost 2 months to see Psychiatrist Sean Chappin. In less than 10 minutes without having records or history of patient, he decides that my daughter is not suited as a patient for the entire facility and did not give an explanation why. The most unprofessional evaluation of a patient ever.

The most amazing doctor I have seen yet I have been with him for years I do not plan on seeing another one any time in any sort of future he helps me immensely he is the best I suggest anyone who wants to get any sort of help to see him
