Dr. Sean Michael Conley, MD

I'm from SW PA, but I've lived in many other states, mostly large cities. I've had some very good doctors. But Dr. Conley is by far the best Primary Care Physician I've ever seen. If I was going to craft my dream doctor, I don't think that doctor would even come close to the same quality as Dr. Conley. Not only is he knowledgeable, and capable as a physician, but he listens - sometimes for up to an hour (yes, I am the reason your appointment started late, and I apologize), without passing judgment on you, with compassion, sympathy, and intelligence, catching what medical problems you are describing between the lines. And if he can't figure it out, he's more than willing to send you to specialists until your problem is figured out to your satisfaction. I've had countless doctors send me for tests or xrays, and when the answer isn't found the first time, act like I never told them anything was wrong, and when I bring it up again, act like I'm just a complainer who is making things up.… Dr. Conley stays with you through until there's either a diagnosis, or until the situation resolves itself, or medical science just can't explain it at that time - but he keeps it in his mind that you have that complaint (and in your chart). He never considers you to be a complainer, especially when your medical history proves that you are not. He understands that your insurance doesn't pay for everything, and tries hard to keep costs down for you if you ask him to. He is a very quiet man, very kind and caring - but don't let his meek exterior fool you, he has a strong personality, he just chooses to be a kind person, because he practices his faith in all that he does. He and I are not of the same faith, but we share the same ideals, and in that common ground we have mutual respect, which I greatly appreciated from him. If I ever hit big on the lottery, one of the first things I want to do is hire him as my private physician, and pay him the salary he's worth. If you are lucky enough to have Dr. Conley as your doctor, listen to him, because he is smart, don't ignore his good advice and instructions. He might not tell you what you want to hear, but he will tell you what you need to hear.

Dr Conley is a great Doctor, many Doctors will ask the patient there symptoms and slap a prescription, not Dr Conley! He will take his time with his patients to address there illness and discuss the best treatment and do all the testing possible to rule out illnesses that you may or may not have and do rverything to find out what is causing your illness. He does not overlook anything and he will answer all of your questions and take time with you. He compassionate about his patients, I never thought I would find a good Dr here in Fayette County until going to Centerville Clinic in Fairchance,Pa, I finally found a Doctor who is listening to me, I hope to have this Dr for many years to come!!!

DR.Conley is very easy to talk to and is a good listener.He is an excellent family doctor. The overall atmosphere of the office personnel and the nursing staff is friendly and professional.
