Dr. Sean Michael Cook, MD

I'm an existing patient here and while Dr. Cook is a good doctor, the receptionists make it extremely difficult to schedule appointments. I was told to either walk-in or I couldn't see him. I was shocked to hear this. There is no excuse for this. It does not matter how good a doctor is if I'm unable to see him when I want to.

My wife and I have been patients of Doctor Cook for years. He has a kind and courteous manner. He is an excellent listener - he will always take any symptoms seriously and will quickly respond with a diagnosis or perform more tests. All the the staff at Green Brook Family Medicine are friendly and professional - I should mention Doctor Frank, who is also an excellent Doctor. I honestly feel I am healthy as I can be from going to this practice.

I see, only if you have insurance do you really care. I have been a patient of his for a couple years, hard times really hit me when after a bad car accident I lost my job, insurance right after. My daughter went to him not knowing I lost my insurance. Need to pay $100 out of pocket in which I have no job, no insurance and no money. My medicine in which I need to take every day that he prescribes for years now he does not want anything to do with me, cancelled me as a patient and won't even give 1 month of heart and well being medication until I can get a job with insurance. My health is declining and no doctors will take me unless I pay up front. He has my medical history and it will be no problem just to get me by for 1 month. Nice doctor to care about the heath and well fare of your patients. Only if you have insurance I guess. If I die because of this, it will be on your shoulders. Thanks doc.

I've been seeing DR. Cook for about 15 years now and every time that I've seen him, I've never been misdiagnosed. Dr. cook has great bedside manners and does a great job of explaining to me what the problem is and what I need to do to prevent any further instances. I Moved out of Green Brook about 5 years ago and I still continue to see him even though I have to travel further now. I will continue use Dr. Cook as my primary care physician for as long as he stays in practice. Good thing we are about the same age!

i have never been seen on time or even within a reasonable timeframe relating to my appt. great doctors, but its just another case of jampacking patients instead of treating us as if our time was in any way valuable or respected. often dont even see the dr and a nurse practitioner sees us instead.

I've been a patient of Dr. Cook and Dr. Frank for a number of years. He has saved my life on a couple of occasions (no exageration)and has shown extrodinary care and expertise in his general knowledge and professionalism. He doesn't mince words with your condition,and he is an extrodinary sensitive and caring doctor. He is a family man who understands what is important in life. Putting yourself under his care is a life decision you will appreciate.
