Dr. Sean David Cunningham

Excellent in every way. Thorough, professional, and kind. Dr. Cunningham always takes time to ask questions, to listen, to explain. He has been my doctor for many years, and I'm lucky to have him. I always feel better when I leave his office.

Rude and self-important. Witnessed him belittling staff and being rude to a colleague. Gives the hospital a bad reputation.

You could not be in better hands than to be a patient of Dr. Cunningham's. He has been my physician for well over 25 years! He literally saved my life a few years ago by detecting the slightest of symptoms that led to a condition that is most often found in autopsies. I have referred many friends and family to him. He is a brilliant medical detective. I would, however, caution you that if you are not willing to work on your medical health and do the work, he is not your guy. His direct approach can be intimidating to those who might want to "bluff their way" through a physical or appointment. If, on the other hand, you are willing to honest with him and put in the work to maintain your medical health, you could not ask for a more caring, compassionate doctor and advocate. He wants you to care about your health as much as he does. That's more than fair.

An experienced, intelligent physician who doesn’t pull punches. One may not like his demeanour or his advice but he gives the patient his diagnosis straight and to the point. I’m employed in the medical supply field and when I asked for a referral from physicians whose clinics I serviced his name came up more than any other. He’s been my primary care physician for years.

Pompous jerk. Deigns to explain anything to you. Treats you like you're an idiot. I have self-harmed in the past and he actually asked me what my scars say about me when I visited for something completely unrelated. No way I could have him as my main doctor (who was booked the day I needed to go). Hope this dirtbag has a heart attack. Would love to have 5 minutes with him

Demeaning, rude and has no desire to hear the patient's wishes.

I've had two telephone conversations with Sean Cunningham while he was the on-call physician after hours at the hospital. He's a very unpleasant person, is very rude, and interrupts you mid-sentence. So I asked around to fellow nurses who said their experiences were similar. This is how he is. After hanging up the phone all I could think about was hopefully he treats his patients and his wife with more respect than he does nursing staff.

I have no hesitation of recommending Dr Cunningham to my very best friend or my children. He is a good listener, takes time to visit with you so he can fully understand your problems and concerns. I would give him 10 stars if I could. A man who is truly committed in helping others. Thank You

Thorough. Analytical. Honest. Practical. Helpful.

I have had nothing be great experiences with Dr Cunningham. Two things I appreciate most:* time and patience* does not believe in handling all problems by handing out prescriptions. With a recent back problem, he sent me to a Physical Therapist and I was able to completely rid myself of my upper back pain without having to take any medications (other than a periodic Ibuprofen.
