Dr. Sean James Dacus, DO

I am just amazed at how anyone could write anything negative about Dr. Dacus. He is the best doctor in this area! Been with him for years and he is always on time, always kind, compassionate, caring, and professional. A top notch provider! I personally cannot say enough good things about him. His staff is pretty awesome too!

"Dr." Dacus is the worst so-called doctor I have ever met. Very emotional to the point that I thought he was going to begin crying after he was finished yelling at me. Yes, yelling. He told me emphatically that he couldn't possibly answer a question I asked because I had put him behind his schedule already. Of course I sat in the operatory for 30 minutes waiting for him, so he made me late as well. I did not fuss nor cry and left the building in disgust. I strongly agree with the other comments on this site that relate to his obvious dislike of women. He's in the wrong career. I have already found another doctor and hope that leaving this comment will not adversely affect my new doctor receiving all of my information.

I have had a couple of visits with Dr. Dacus and he has been combative and hasn’t taken me seriously. I wondered if he has a problem taking women seriously. He seems unable to provide appropriate treatment or recommendations. He doesn’t listen well and it seems his ego interferes with providing adequate care to the point of bickering with me, the patient. As a woman it is unpleasant in this day and age to feel belittled by your PCP. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Saw him once very very rude didn't even make eye contact the whole time was on his phone.. said I was depressed and had anxiety after having a baby he told me I need to see a phyciatis and psycologist.. made me feel like I was really crazy or abnormal. Something tells me he was so rude to me because I have masshealth. Don't waste you're time with him. Has a "better than you" attitude

Not highly impressed. No personality. Looks like he cares but also looks like he'd rather be somewhere else.

My experience at South Deerfield family Practice with Dr Dacus was a very positive one. I transferred care from a larger practice as I became frustrated with the impersonal and rushed care I was receiving there. The staff in South Deerfield are very courteous and professional and made me feel very welcome. Dr Dacus spent quite a bit of time with me and did address several issues during our visit. He was also very prompt in getting back to me with test results and thorough in discussing treatment options. It was nice to go to a practice where I didn't feel just like another number. I would certainly reccomend this practice to my friends and family.
