Dr. Sean Erik Drazner, DO

This is the worse ER doctor I ever had an encounter with. He refused to give me IV fluid when I requested to him that I want the IV, because I had chronic diarrhea for four days, stating I’m not a candidate for IV since there is a shortage, that only patients with certain conditions could get the IV, in a very aggressive hostile tone & attitude. He didn't give me any medication for my nausea, to help make me feel more comfortable. After he took my bloodwork & stool sample he suggested for me to leave the ER & call for the results, that is HIPAA violation & it is impossible to reach a ER doctor over the phone, which good thing I didn’t leave because he then orders a CT to be done, if I left I wouldn’t have had one. He ordered the wrong stool sample, my chief complaint was diarrhea he ordered a stool sample for solid stool not diarrhea, which gave false negatives because my I didn’t fill it up like it was supposed to. But he was going to continue with the inaccurate stool sample &… discharge me without finding what infectious bacteria I am suffering from because my CT came back normal but he believes it’s a infectious bacteria in my intestine but he didn’t find the diagnosis & proceeded to discharge me. Then when I was about to leave he ordered the correct stool sample that’s in a cup since I have watery diarrhea but then changes his mind since the CT scan came out normal & proceeds to discharge me. I informed him that I would still want to do this stool sample because I didn’t get one correctly. I would like my stool to be tested accurately, he rolled his eyes & shook his head stating it won’t be needed when it is, in fact needed & I would like an accurate testing & results, since that’s the main reason why I’m in the ER. I went to the bathroom anyways to collect the watery stool & I gave it to the nurse & insisted in still getting it tested, so she did. He lacks empathy, has horrible bedside manner, bad hospitality, & terrible patient care.

He has no empathy, does not want to listen to the patient and does more harm than good to the patients. He did the procedure wrong and caused lots of bleeding and pain. I hope he can improve his attitude and knowledge so the people who have to see him may have better outcome.

Talks a ton but says very little, horrible bed side manners, rude, extremely disrespectful!

Went to the ER for weakness in legs, weakness in body and back pain, did bloood test and urine only! No IV fluids were given! no chest Xray to rule out any possible inflammation in chest! told me to follow up with primary care dr, this Dr does not listen to you and has a medical student shadowing him in the ER, very bad experience with this dr unfortunately
