Dr. Sean Raphael Field, MD

I first met Dr. Sean Raphael Field in the Emergency room at Touro hospital in New Orleans LA. I had lost consciousness while putting in a contact lens and fell onto the tile floor in my home:s bathroom. Fortunately, my son who lives close by found me. Dr. Field was on duty in ER. He understood immediately that I needed to be hospitalized. The previous day ( when the accident happened and my son took me to ER at Touro) I was rejected for admission to Touro hospital. Dr. Field and Dr. Patrick McAuliffe agreed during our second trip to the ER that I definitely required admission. Dr. Field had visited me each of my days in the hospital. He is the most knowledgeable, caring, truly concerned, and kindest physician. He listens. He offers and finds solutions. I had a broken fibula in my left leg. Almost 80 years old. I live alone. I also have a history of blood of blood clots and I have COPD. Thirteen steps to enter my home alone. Dr. Field found and discussed with me many options including… my request to always remain a Do Not Resuscitate patient. He is the Best on this planet!! I could not have endured my pain without him!
