Dr. Sean E Gilin, MD

my family has been a patient with Dr. Gilin for about 25 years. He is the best family doctor!! Love his office and staff. We are grateful for such a fine doctor and staff.

I have been with Dr. Gilin since day 1, I am totally satisfied with Dr. Gilin and his staff, he takes the time to listen to you, I like that! I only gave a two star rating because of how the office is managed. You can never...never get through on the phone! I have not experienced this any other place. They need to make sure that your call in answered at the time of calling, not be put on hold and then asked to leave a ton of information and be told that they will call back within 24 hour. We don't know when they are going to call back...we work, we run errands outside of the house, we have other appointments, believe it or not...Not everyone has a cell phone! The point is, we have a life too! Our time is just as important. If we miss the call we are back a square one, we call back just to get the same message. He seems to be overbooked and/ or has too many patients to handle in a decent manner, time in the waiting area is way too long.

It is really hard to get a hold of his office. They don't return phone calls in a timely matter.

I am very happy with Dr. Gilin's care. He is our whole family's primary care physician and all of us trust and depend on his scope of care. He is extremely conscientious and gives me all the time I require to discuss my concerns. Sometimes there is a wait in the exam room, but i am sure that is because he is giving other patients his full attention.

This office really needs to change how they operate to become more efficient. Appointments need to be made by the nurse which means calling, leaving a message and waiting for return call with an appointment time. The office has multiple doctors, there should be 1 person who can answer the phone for all and make an appointment. Making an appoint should not require waiting for a call back. For that reason my family has left this practice.

He doesn't call with test results. It's a 2-3 wait. Acts like he doesn't care. Doesn't seem to want to order tests to find health problems.

Dr. Gilin is a great guy. I believe he is a compliant doctor. He needs to be made aware of his staff that answer the phone, when they do. Have called office and no one has answered so i physically went there and asked why they did not pick up the phone, Their excuse was that they forgot to turn the phones over from the weekend. Are you kidding me. On several occasions have tried to get my family in for an appointment and had to wait over 2 days! That is not acceptable. Dr. Gilin, you need to hire more professional staff.

Dr Gilin has been our Dr for 13 years and I wouldn't dream of going elsewhere.His wait time is so long because he spends time with his patients and will see a pt with a problem the same day if needed. We LOVE Dr Gilin!

Dr. Gilin has been our family doctor since my son was born 6 1/2 years ago...He is the most caring and understanding doctor I have been too...He doesnt try to rush you out of the door, he is willing to sit there and answer any and every question you have and talks in terms we can all understand :) My kids love him and I would highly recommend him to anyone.
