Dr. Sean Yi Haugh, MD

If I could give half a star, I would. He has absolutely horrible beside manner and what's worse, he is bad at being a psychiatrist. Maybe I could tolerate it if he were good at his job, but he is not. Just three weeks after a su*cide attempt, he made me stop taking medication. He claimed I was fully functional and that my self harm behaviour meant I was just confused, not suicidal. He tried to force me to come out to my parents and told me I had to be transparent and cut the bullsh*t when I said no. He claimed that medication would never help me because I am 'functional' (even after I explicitly said I disagreed) after I tried only one medication and it didn't work. I can confidently say that this man is a bully and I vehemently refuse to see or speak to him again. You deserve better. He shouldn't be a psychiatrist.

Dr Haugh brought us back together as a family. He is experienced and kind and was great for our family. There aren’t enough words of praise to express how appreciative we are !

Hey, This guy is incompetent. I can so with absolute confidence that this guy is bad for everyone. He doesn't understand empathy! He is quick to judge and slow to listen. I had two appointments with this guy. The first one left me shook. The second one ended abruptly with me walking out. He was going to prescribe me medications that would interfere with the nursing of my new born child. He doesn't listen, which makes him a dangerous MD. I realize he works for the county, and in this system you have to take what you get. I hope more people hold this clown accountable. Don't settle if you don't have too. Don't be afraid to stand up for what is right, this guy is a bully. If you feel the same way I do, don't put up with this crap.

Dr. H's office is a little bit creepy when you first walk in. It's a blank room with a dilapidated couch and there was no receptionist when I walked in. When I got called in by an older man whom I believed to be Dr. H, he neither made a proper introduction nor shook my hand even though I was meeting him for the first time. When the actual appointment part began I explained my situation to him. However, I did not get to finish because he interrupted me in order to make strong claims (along with a very definitive diagnosis) without providing any factual basis for these claims (such as using science or careful longitudinal observation). He even had the nerve to speak as if I were not even present while he rambled on about his pseudo-scientific opinion (How rude!). I was astounded that he could reach these conclusions based on 20 minutes of conversation! Therefore, I cannot recommend this "doctor" to anyone, because he did not take enough time or use objective observation and… science to make his diagnosis, as a good doctor would.
