Dr. Sean A Jebraili, MD

After having fusion surgery 13 months ago, my back pain was still so bad I went to see a highly recommended surgeon. After yet another MRI, I need to have a corrective surgery. I would never recommend Jebraili to anyone.

A very strange guy with an awful personality who talks a mile a minute and doesn't make a lot of sense. Talks about himself nonstop. Didn't provide adequate information about what the surgery would entail or what recovery would be like. Doesn't listen very well, and his staff of one is nasty. He horribly botched my spine surgery. Didn't put in the correct number of pins in my cervical rebuild and now I hurt worse than before. I can barely walk, some days, and the pain is never-ending. I've seen another surgeon since and he couldn't understand what Jebraili had done to me. It's no surprise he doesn't have many patients or his own office space. Avoid this quack.

I had spinal fusion surgery in Dec 22. If I could give less than 1 star, I would - the experience from the surgery has been a nightmare. Not only was the surgery not helpful, I'm in worse pain now 11 months later. Be aware - if you are out-of-network - stay away from this practice. I was promised and agreed to pay a flat sum of $1700 prior to surgery which I did in good faith. I was told that would the total I would owe - so I then agreed to the surgery. Well, 9 months later I get another bill from his office administrator/assistant (Sheila) in the amount almost equal to the total amount I paid initially. My insurance denied their additional request, so they came after me for this new amount. Not only that, the office also never notified my insurance company that I had paid the initial amount of $1,700 as well as office visits (expensive for out of network). Sheila had told my wife it's an agreement between the office and the patient - insurance doesn't need to know. What? … So, with this out of the blue new bill, my out-of-pocket maximums with the insurance company would be well over the out-of-pocket insurance maximums - but the insurance was never notified, and it has never been on record. We are looking into this further, but I would never recommend this Dr. to anyone. The surgery was a failure, and the billing practices were flat out dishonest (to put it mildly).

Dr. J rents office space from an investment firm. When I say office space, I mean 1 room. Sketchy. The first thing you notice is that he’s totally unhinged, talking a mile a minute about everything and nothing, mostly about himself and how good he is. It’s hard to understand what he says. Some of it is pure gibberish ranting. He made me come see him many times before he’d take x-rays even though I was in serious pain and clearly needed images to see what was going on. He wanted to make as much money on pre-op visits as he could. The only reason I didn’t turn and run was that no other surgeons had openings. He had a lot of openings because he barely has any patients. Before surgery, he didn’t tell me he was fusing my vertebrae together. There was a lot he didn’t tell me, such as how long and painful recovery was. He botched the surgery, lied a lot, has an awful personality, gossips about patients. When my pain got worse after the procedure, he said. “It’s not my fault.” Dr J and his… "staff" (just one nasty receptionist) didn’t wear masks, even at the height of the pandemic. Good knowledge of science, Doc! Avoid this guy like the plague. Unethical, unprofessional, a total quack.

I've been going to Dr. Jebraili since 2015 and I will never step in his office again. Since my last surgery, I have been in constant pain and Dr. Jebraili just blew me off telling me I needed to swim. I needed a hip replaced (not necessary) and on another visit he told me one of my legs was 3" shorter than the other. Turns out everything in my back was collapsing. After a visit to an orthopedic surgeon, I found out that everything Dr. Jebraili did to my back has to be removed and all new hardware (everything) has to be put in my back. I'm so upset because I thought Dr. Jebraili was the most wonderful doctor I had ever met and that he genuinely cared about me. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DR. JEBRAILI TO ANYONE FOR ANY TYPE OF SURGERY!!! I'm getting testing done now for a 5th and probably 6th surgery. Thanks a bunch Dr. Jebraili ??

Excellent bedside manners! I saw two or three local spine surgeons - all were rude and dismissive. Dr. Jebraili is different and told me the truth. Refreshing to see a doctor actually spend time to listen. If you have a spine problem you cant go wrong with Dr. Jebraili. He is highly recommended!

Prior to seeing Dr. Jebraili I saw another top surgeon in the area. After looking at my xray they said I need to see Dr. J. Dr. J was very forthright in his assessment and gave me options on how to proceed. The two-level fusion was a success and my recovery went exactly how he predicted. I'm back to participating in triathlons and could not be happier with my experience with Dr. Jebraili and his staff.

Cool doc! friendly and knows his stuff. Nice staff as well. Highly recommend Dr. J if you have back or neck pain.

He is a great surgeon but needs to be more sensitive to people's time. Always running really behind on appointments.
