Dr. Sean Michael Liston, MD

Dr. Liston graduated with honors from the University of Arizona in 1999 with a B.S. in Electrical/Optical Engineering. He attended the University of Arizona, College of Medicine as a Dean%u2019s Scholar and graduated in 2004. During that time he was selected to spend a year as a Pathology Fellow. Dr. Liston completed a transitional internship at the Tucson Hospitals Medical Education Program where he was elected Intern of the Year. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Arizona, where he served as Chief Resident. He completed his training at the University of California, San Diego where he undertook fellowship training in corneal and refractive surgery and also served as a clinical and surgical instructor for residents. In addition to performing cataract, PRK and LASIK surgery, Dr. Liston is trained to perform corneal transplants. Dr. Liston is board eligible with the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Medical Association, the …American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, and the Cornea Society. He resides in Chico with his wife and son.
