Dr. Sean Albert Marzolf, MD

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Marzolf. I had skin cancer on my forehead, I was very nervous, but his bedside manner was very good and I’m very thankful for the work of him and his staff! I would recommend him to anyone!!

Dr. Marzolf did the Mohs procedure on my scalp 2 yrs ago. The purpose of this procedure is to do as little damage as possible to remove the skin cancer. It was a very small mole and he cut a 4” opening, used 14 staples and left a crater in my head. He did this in only 1 very aggressive step instead of the careful steps as described in the Mohs procedure. After 2 years, my hair has not grown back. I have a large bald spot in my hair and a dent in my head the size of a spoon. I am a woman and I am grateful that the cancer has been removed but I am constantly trying to cover the bald spot and it is very depressing that it is so obvious and permanent. I feel that he could have done a better job with less damage.

I had a basil cell removed from my nose. My face looks awful now. Dr Marzolf did a second surgery to try to make it look better but no success. I need plastic surgery which I can’t afford. This was my 3rd removal. The other two MOHS procedures were done by another dr that did a very good job. Dr Marzolf was very nice and seemed to care but my face is ugly now.

Had basal cell carcinoma removed via the Mohs procedure on face and looked hideous months afterward. Doctor failed to explain procedure and ramifications thereof. Having to seek plastic surgery for reconstruction.

My husband had a skin cancer treated by Dr. Marzolf on his ear. He was very friendly and personable, and I think he did a great job.
