Sean McDonald is a hack my back hasn't been right since he touched it he's a hack

Dr. McDonald did two lumbar spinal fusions on me and it turned out great. I would recommend him to anybody, even my husband who is now having back problems. Miss his associate Kemp Smith too. I don't think there is a more consientious Dr. or a nicer or sweeter man.

PLEASE PLEASE REVIEW ALL THE RATINGS ON THIS DOCTOR. ON OFFICE VISITS I NEVER SAW HIM TILL THE MORNING OF SURGERY. SPENT SEVERAL HOURS IN OFFICE WAITING ROOM. 1 YEAR LATERA 2ND SURGERY WAS SCHEDULED AND MORE SEVERE. 3 TIMES THIS DOCOTR CANCELLED ON ME (TWICE MINS BEFORE I WAS DUE AT THE HOSPITAL). WENT TO LOUISVILLE FOR SURGERY THEY HAD ME SCHEDULED FOR SURGERY QUICKLY! COMMENTS FROM MY NEW DOCTOR WAS EXCESSIVE SCAR TISSUE AND A SLOPPY JOB! MY FUSION AND RODS SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE IN THE 1ST PLACE. WHEN HIS OFFICE CANCELLED THE 3RD TIME I LEARN THAT HE HAD GONE ONTO DRUG REHAB? REALLY..REALLY? THE WHOLE ORDEAL WITH THIS DOCTOR WAS AND IS A NIGHTMARE..FIND SOMEONE ELSE!!!

I Have had 2 surgery's the first I couldn't have ask for a better Dr. even though I only saw him only twice.The rest of the visits I saw his N.P. The second Operation I saw Dr McDonald once on the day Of surgery. The rest of the time I got to see his N.P. I have had nothing but pain,and have been treated like dirt. I was susposed to have another surgery on my neck and was told that he was going to be off for several months because he was so exhausted however come to find out he was in drug rehab. My family dr set me up with another Dr.from Louisville He has found out that the problem wasn't salved, because the surgery didn't intell the right vertribra,and will mostlikely entail another surgery. What a let down.

You are great doctor and surgeon. The Lord Jesus has blessed you. In turn you have blessed me with being able to walk. Thank you.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mcdonald for several years and I highly recommend him for anyone who suffers from neck & back pain. I have traveled to surrounding states for treatment and surgeries from other Neurosurgeons and have had the best results with Dr. McDonald.

Dr. McDonald did a wonderful job with my cervial fusion and disk replacement, and lecture on how to take care of my body for a successful future. He and his staff was very caring and felt like family and gave me respect during every visit. I am very glad to say that this establishment helped me recover from serious injuries and now I am living a more successful life. Thank you always with love and friendship for everyday I have now to spend with my children with improved health.

Not only was Dr.McDonald thorough and concise, he also had a way of explainiing things in a manner i could understand. I felt very at ease and comfortable. in addition, i found his nurses and office staff beneficial as well. I left my appointment with a good understanding of my diagnosis and options. But most importantly, i left knowing if any questions arise i would feel comfortable discussing them with my surgeon

I called his office to notify him that my appointment at the local pain management center had been pushed back nearly 2 months because of inclement weather. The nurse answering the phone was arrogant and confrontational with me so I told her I did not want to talk to her if she were going to use that tone and hung up. A few days later I received a certified letter from Dr. McDonald stating that he would no longer provide services to me "due to my recent behavior with (his) office staff". I was surprised and confused by this news because it was his office staff whose behavior was questionable in my opinion. I suspect that the nurse went to Dr. McDonald after the conversation and told him that I had said something to warrant the resultant letter. I guess she was just having a bad day, however to refuse service to a patient with a severe herniated disc because of pride and arrogance is not a humane way to conduct business just to salvage the nurse's ego. Beware of this guys!
