Dr. Sean Vincent Mcgarry, MD

Dr. McGarry and RN Kirby both have poor bedside manners. Long waits, normally hours past my original appointment time. Dr. McGarry does not like patients asking questions and seeking alternative treatments to his first suggestion. As an informed patient, I like to explore all of my treatment options starting with the least invasive before jumping into surgery. Appointment was very rushed, Dr. McGarry and his nurse Kirby are in the room for less than 3 minutes each visit. This has been a constant problems for years, but unfortunately he is the only orthopedic oncologist in the area. That provides him with many benefits including poor patient care and leaves the patients suffering. Dr McGarry seems to not enjoy seeing patients. He is very knowledgeable and would most likely excel in a research position that does not work directly with patients.

Dr McGarry's assistant is unfriendly and is slow to respond and lies. Dr McGarry stated he would do several things during the surgery which he did not do at all or did something different. The surgical report did not match actual. Dr McGarry's office said they had sent MRI results to the out of state medical team to provide instruction as to what they wanted in the biopsy. No MRI was sent. Dr McGarry said he would consult with the medical team waiting for the results of the biopsy before conducting the biopsy but the medical team said they were never contacted. Dr McGarry's word cannot be trusted.

He should see the patient for more than 2 minutes

Dr. McGarry is a true professional in every sense. He knows my case inside and out, and I trust his judgement implicitly.
