Dr. Sean Eric Mcmillan, MD

Great first visit with Dr. Mcmillan. So informative, so much information to take in that one visit! So much advice in one appointment. Glad I had someone with help to help me remember details. Notes on the visit are very acessable to help remember all the information. Had a difficult time the last 8 years admitting disgnoses, he really helped me to understand what has and is going and accept the condition. He spent an amazing amount of time checking physical wellbeing and giving advice on who else to check with about my condition. I can't wait to follow up on all of the information. Look forward to more visits!

I had an appointment today and had a good follow up visit. I wanted to leave a good review since my experience was good. Then I saw the prior review and felt more compelled to do so. I happened to be in the waiting room today at the same time as this person. In defense of Dr. McMillan's office, the patient was very late for her appointment (the staff told her she was 40 minutes late). Dr. McMillan talked to her briefly about rescheduling the appointment so he could do a good job and not rush through the appointment. She said she had seen 20 doctors and no one could figure her out. He told her he could try to see her through the lunch break, but it still may not be adequate time. He told her he had reviewed her records ahead of time, and he wasn't sure that there was any rheumatology problem, but she could reschedule to go over it. She just walked out. Dr. McMillan has been a good rheumatologist for me. He explains things well and is thorough. He's been able to help… me. quite a bit.

I had been waiting months to get an appointment with Dr. Sean McMillan. My doctor had specifically sent me to him because Dr. McMillan was supposed to be the best of the best. I finally had my appointment today, but when I arrived with my mother, there was a mix up with the time. instead of having compassion, the receptionist was extremely rude to me and told me that the doctor wouldn't see me. When they brought the doctor out, he said that he "had no idea why I was there" and that he had looked at my chart and he had no idea how to help me. I explained to him that my doctor had sent me to him specifically because he believed he was the best person to help me, but Dr. McMillan insisted that he had no idea how to help me. He said all of this without even examining me. He told me that he would be willing to see me, but that he was convinced that he had no idea how to help me. He should have told me this before I drove a half an hour to see him. I left the clinic in tears, they were so… rude, had no compassion, and disregarded the fact that I had waited months to see him. I was extremely dissatisfied with their customer service and their clinic all together. I would highly recommend NOT seeing this doctor or attending this clinic. They don't care about the patient or the pain that they are going through.

An awesome Doctor, he has helped me. He listens to u where most doctors do not. He gives over 110% . He cares about u and helps u to get better. Smart on top of the latest updates on all that he studies.

I really liked Dr. McMillan. He spent a long time with me at my first appointment and was very detailed with his questioning and his exam. He took time to explain everything to me. He seems caring and interested in taking care of me.

Not sure what the last reviewer is talking about. The staff is very professional, and Dr. McMillan was very thorough. He spent more time with than any dctor has in a very long time. He was pleasant and took time to explain things to me which was very helpful. The wait time at the office to be seen was only about 5-10 minutes. It does take a while to get an appointment because there are not many rheumatologist in the area apparently. I would recommend Dr. McMillan to friends or family.

1st visit Dr McMillan was very nice. I was talking with one of staff members I was told if I was pleased with Dr Sean McMillan. I cld leave a comment. So I did 4 stars. I wish I cld retract it. Since 1st visit Dr McMillan he has been rude, short, I left feeling awful. If he doesnt want people to come in then he might want to have his office staff not give their food order while acting like they are listening to patients. I wld nt have came in for his opion if his staff has listened to me and gave a message to the doctor.

I am sure of what the date was of my first appointment with Dr. McMillian but I probably have been seeing him for about two years. My overall experience from my first appointment on with him has been very positive. He has helped me more than any doctor I have ever been to in my 22 years here in Salt lake City. I very seldom ever have to see my primary doctor because Dr, McMillian does such a great job taking care of my needs. To tell you the truth he takes better care of me than my primary doctor. Dr McMillian will monitor your medicines by constantly taking your blood work to assure that the meds are not doing any damage to any other vital organs. Doctor McMillian is very kind and is a very good listener. Without Dr McMillian's care I would not be working a full time job today and I would not have the quality of life that I have now. I would highly recommend others to seek his care.
