Dr. Sean Oliver Rassman

Best warm-hearted orthopedic in the inland empire. Showed compassion to my then minor soccer playing som. Took the time to review XRAY image without being his primary doctor and was able to diagnose quickly.

My husband had a torn ACL, that previous MRIs confirms it. County hospital didn’t have the equipment for surgery. We got Kaiser thinking things would be Better just to have Dr.Sean Rassman contradicted everything my husband was told, he didn’t want to look at the MRI or X-rays, and told my husband he didn’t need surgery, that he would be okay with just physical therapy. When in the notes that my husband had shows he had completed physical thereaphy which clearly he didn’t get better. After Dr. Sean recieved MRI he requested for my husband he refused to do surgery, he also told my husband he is good to work when my husband has a completly torn ACL and can’t perform physical activities. Luckily we asked for second opinion and the new doctor schedule him for surgery on the first visit and everything went smooth after that.

I went to see Dr. Rassman for the first time and was pleased with the visit. Dr. Rassman spend an impressive amount of time answering my questions and helping me understand my condition and options. I will see him more and will post my experiences. So far I am very happy with my experience and have the highest praise for Dr. Rassman. I would highly recommend him.

I went in for a consultation for a torn labrum in which I already have a mri that confirms it is torn. Not to mention the severe pain I am in and limited motion to be told I don’t have a tear in my rotator cuff... which is two separate things ?? he talked in circles. Very rude and matter of fact. Wasn’t listening to anything I had to say. Wouldn’t let me talk and kept talking over me. He showed no sympathy for the pain I have been in and said it’s surprising that I’m in so much pain for what I have going on. He left me feeling angry and frustrated.

Dr. Rassman did a rotator cuff & knee surgery for me. I have 100% recovery from both surgeries. I definitely recommend him!

Dr. Rassman spent less than ten minutes with me and contradicted everything I came in for. He proceeded to tell me that I CAN walk on my right leg, and put my full weight on my right knee, which I definitely cannot without being in severe pain. He then told me I do not need to wear a brace at all, and that there was nothing wrong with my knee. In reality, I'm in excruciating pain, have limited range of motion in my knee, and it gives under my weight if I push myself too hard - all of which began immediately following an incident that occurred while completing fitness testing for law enforcement. I was not given ANY pain medication, nor offered modified duty for work. I was then left to schedule my own MRI, which I now have to wait three weeks for. There was absolutely no genuine care or concern for my wellbeing, my pain, or interest in how the injury was sustained. I felt like my visit was inconvenient to him and he had more important things to do.

As you would want with a Doctor, he approached every aspect of my case with a perfectly thorough diagnosis, plan of action and precision repair / surgery. Include professional follow up and the time to summarize my condition with a smart recommendation. My end result was a perfect textbook success.

Dr. Rassman is a caring Dr who listens to what you are telling him & then takes care of the problem. I highly recommend him.

I was very happy overall with the service and surgery performed by Dr. Rassman. His assessment and prognosis was right on and I returned to normal activity quickly. Excellent bedside manner and surgical facility support staff. I highly recommend him.
