Dr. Seanna Thompson, MD

I saw Dr. Thompson for a consult on weight management. She was easy to talk with and wanted to get at the root cause of my relationship with food. I found some of her recommendations and handouts contradictory, such as providing a handout for a restrictive fad diet while also stating that fad diets are harmful. The most disturbing part of the visit was when she overreached into psychological matters during the intake, labeling long-resolved family dynamics as “abusive,” which I never stated. She even suggested that a family member had “gaslit” me when I explained how we resolved an issue. To my knowledge, she does not have a degree in psychology, psychiatry, or specific training in trauma or abuse. Her notes exaggerated what I shared, making my family appear in a negative light. When I asked her to correct the inaccuracies, she agreed but defensively recommended that I see another provider, which I had already decided was best.

Unresponsive, doesnt realy give a crap about what kind of pain youre in. Likes to ignore what you are saying and how you are feeling and thinks your pains are just like everyone else's. I do not recommend. If you want a doctor who actually cares about you, its defiantly not here. Pregnant women beware. She will act as if your pregnacy is like everyone elses and you can not supposed to be in any kind of pain " statistically". She will tell you to stay on you feet when you are clearly in excruciating pain. For example I told her that my pain is so bad that I'm crying at work but she told me im fine

This woman is phenomenal

Had to change my gyn. because of my new insurance coverage. Very nervous having to find a new dr. after seeing my other gyn. over 10 years. I was able to get an emergency appt. within a week. Office works with latest technology, I was able to view my US results the next day! Office staff above-average. Dr. Thompson is totally awesome, she has a calming effect and explains everything so you can understand. Highly recommend her, and I'm very pleased with my new gyn.

She is nice lady and just fair rating. Not responsive.
