Dr. Seema P Dixit, DO

Been going to her for about 8 years and never had any problems with her or the staff! Was very surprised to read some of these reviews they must be seeing another Doctor. She helped me when a company stopped making my medication and needed to switch to something else. She is always friendly and spends time with you asking you questions and letting you ask questions too. She helped me and I'm thankful for that. The staff there is always very friendly and some even know you by name. Dr. Dixit is a very good Dr. and I would highly recommend her to anyone! Thanks for all your help.

The first time I’ve seen this dr she barely made eye contact Acted like she didn’t care about what I had to say. It was a cold visit. The staff is a joke, not organized, rude and unprofessional. I did go back figured it was a bad day but it wasn’t any better my next couple visits. You would never believe a Nuerologist’s staff behave this way.

The staff here are quite rude! They do not display any hint of professionalism, and made me feel so uncomfortable. I will find a new doctor because it is supposed to be a TEAM.

Do not respect patients! I had an appointment and for a reason they canceled it and booked someone else without informing me. They did not appologize or show any attempt to resolve the problem. They did not allow me see the doctor and wanted me to wait 6 more weeks. They did not show any cooperation in finding a sooner appointment!

not willing to answer question, chip on shoulder. Does not inspire confidence

I went to Dr. Dixit the first time and she seemed fairly nice. She ordered a whole bunch of blood work. The office never called me to some in although I had noticed that two of my test had abnormal results. I asked a nurse that I know what she though and she said that the doctor that ordered these test had the responsibility of interpreting them. I never heard from the office so called and set up an appointment a month and a half after I had the blood work done since the office was so irresponsible in calling me and asking me to come in to review these results. I saw Dr. Dixit and she said that all my result were normal. I was a little confused and did not confront her as I did not have the results in front of me. I rechecked the result and one of the thes test were 30 points above the normal range. I called the office and left a message. Someone from the office called me back to get more information and i was told they would relay the message to the doctor. They did and… someone called me to relay the doctor message. According to the doctor she said the results were non specific and could have been related to my condition. I would not recomend this physician as she was not upfront with me and who knwo if she will be with you. I have no faith in her and would never go back to that office. I made an appointment with my PCP to review the results and see if any other test need to be run to confirm a diagnosis.

I was thoroughly pleased with every aspect of my appointments for my neurological issues with Dr. Dixit. The staff was courteous, her diagnosis was accurate, increased my seizure medicine to meet my needs for my epilepsy and keep it under control. She spent time with me and explained every aspect of my care, including required testing, assisted in getting my disability benefits, which have been a lifeline. Will miss her, since the practice no longer accepts my insurance. .I.would highly recommend Dr. Dixit

For a chronic condition, I have seen many metro DC neurologists. I hope Dr. Dixit continues practicing in Northern Virginia because if I had to go back to one of the other doctors, I would has less confidence in my treatment. My physician appointments would be less pleasant and less informative.
