Dr. Seema Haq, MD

The process of getting and appoint is terrible. You never get to actually talk to anyone because they never call as promised. To them, the most important patient information is insurance. I never actually saw Dr. Haq. See might be fine but i have zero confidence in this practice. I moved on to another doctor.

I contacted her office to schedule an appointment and they would not schedule an appointment until the doctor reviews my medical records. Well, as you know this process can take time particularly when you have multiple doctors in other states etc. I suggest going to another doctor. This was a steadfast office policy! Good luck!!!!!

I've had several appointments at this office. At 1 visit I waited over an hour in the office and come to find out the front desk forgot to check me in. Talking to the front desk is a struggle, they will not do anything extra to help if it means them taking an extra step. I had requested to have records sent over to my PCP & instead of them contacting my PCP to get the fax number they chose to not send my records, as well not say anything to me saying they don't take the step to get the fax number. As for Dr. Haq, not a fan at all. I feel so stupid when I ask a question and most of the time my questions not addressed. I get lots of eye rolls. I never see Dr. Haq more than 5 minutes, she is quickly in and out. It comes across that I don't matter and here are some more medications or instructions scribbled down on a piece of note book paper. It comes across that she simply does not care about my concerns.

She is the worst doctor I have ever seen, and since I am 67 that is saying a lot. I would give her a 0 if I could. She was extremely rude and got really mad because I did not want to start taking thyroid based on a year old lab. Thank goodness, I have always listened to what my father taught me. He said never get on a long term medication without getting a second opinion (because if you do not really have a problem -the medicine could give you one) I went to another endocrinologist who gave me a current test and my thyroid was fine (no medication needed). Need I say more!

She's very thorough. I trust her. Don't particularly like the move, but has nothing to do with her skills

I really like her, she's helped me a lot. BUT her office staff in this new office is horrible, I have been working on a easy simple issue for 7 weeks still no answer or cooperation from this new office. She needs to clean house.

Dr Haq does not listen to me. She does not respect my knowledge about my experience treating my own type 2 diabetes. She treats me as if I am ignorant about my own 20 year history of dealing with my own diabetes. She is rude and I never look forward to seeing her. I would see another Diabetic doctor in Denton but there are no Diabetic doctors taking new patients in a reasonable driving range.

She ordered a lot of useless tests for parathyroid diagnosis. She was hard to understand because of the language barrier.

She's excellent!
