Dr. Seema K Sheth, MD

My experience with Dr. Sheth was unsatisfactory to say the least. I went to her because I suspected that I had interstitial cystitis. I told her my symptoms when I was having my bad flare: bladder pressure and pain at a level of 7 and peeing around the clock every hour or hour and a half. Urine culture showed that it was not a uti. She said because of my age (68) she did not think that it was ic. I asked her what else it could be and she said she didn’t know. I asked her what my options were and she recommended Azo as a first step to see if that would stop the pain. She recommended that I use it 2-3 times a day for several days. I told her that I had kidney disease and that there was a warning on the box that Azo should not be used by people who have kidney disease. She said that wasn’t true and that there was no danger in taking it if you had kidney disease. I figured that being a doctor, she must know what she was talking about so I asked her which Azo product I should use.… She told me the one for bladder pain. I said ok and left her office. When I got home, I looked for the Azo that was specifically made for bladder pain, but didn’t find the product, so I had to call the office back and talk to the triage nurse to find out which package to buy. I was told it was the one for utis maximum strength. If Dr. Sheth had made it clear that was the Azo she was recommending, I would have told her that the pain med in that no longer worked for me. The dye that was supposed to be dark orange when you pee was only yellow coming out of me and there was no pain relief. In addition, just to make sure, I looked up the pain med in Azo and sure enough, there was a warning that people with kidney disease like me should not take it. So her advice to me was dangerous for my kidneys. When the office generated a questionnaire, I wrote all this information down, indicating my disappointment with Dr. Sheth. Several days later I got a CERTIFIED letter telling me that she was discharging me as a patient!! In addition, I was not allowed to see Dr. Peters Gee either, who was in the same office. My advice is to steer clear of Dr. Sheth, especially if you have kidney disease, as her recommendations could further impair your health.

Dr. Sheth and her staff was extremely professional. My questions were answered and I was very pleased at the end of my visit.

Dr. Sheth helped me when no other doctor could. I'm so grateful.

I came in to see Dr. Sheth and felt like she listen to my problems and gave me many options on how to fix this including medication, surgery and leaving it alone. The office was very professional and the staff and medical assistants were nice and helpful. I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Sheth if you have any urinary issues!

I came to Dr.Sheth to try out the femilift laser after having some issues post menopause. Dr.Sheth was very patient and answered all of my questions before getting started. I am very happy with my experience with Dr.Sheth, her MA, and the rest of the staff! The practice manager is also great, she talked me through how much I would be responsible for at my visit. I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Sheth took the time to listen to my concerns and answered all of my questions. This is a very well run office. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this doctor and this office to anyone in need of a Female Urologist.

The office, the staff, and the doctors at this practice are the BEST! The front desk is friendly and very upfront about what to expect. Yes, they do require payment for the work they do, but doesn't everyone else (your hairdresser, the grocery store, your gardener). Diana (one of the MAs) is so thoughtful and patient. I can't understand why anyone would write a bad review, you really are not going to find more competent or kind doctors.

Dr. Sheth put my mind at ease. She talked to me about all of my options for care and made me feel so comfortable. I had a surgery with her and I can truly say she changed my life! I no longer have to wear pads for leakage, I feel so free!

I can honestly say I have never experienced such a unprofessional practice. They exposed my most personal information right out in the waiting room while I was checking in. The secretary asked me about an outstanding balance. Then, when I questioned that amount I hadn't received any billing for this procedure so I couldn't have paid anything towards it. They pretty much turned me away from my appt. Even though I was there on time. This was a follow up appt. to a procedure a had done two weeks previous. What kind of doctor does this? She shouldn't be practicing medicine. I am in complete shock over this incident. Totally unethical!
